Smithville Train Station In Historic Village Green

Always a fun time no matter what your age. The children of course really enjoy it. Particularly fun in the fall with the harvest decorations.

Fun to watch it go around the circle ringing the bell

Second time driving an hour and 45 mins for the train. First time we were told train would be there at 11am it was 10am only to find out its closed for the entire day due to maintenance not posted ANYWHERE this time the train was there when we parked. By time we walked over to it it was gone. Waited 20 mins and decided to go shop then come back. We go back and guess what the conductor left for the day because it was "slow". Now I have a screaming 2 year old who can see the train but can't go on it because the only person who can apparently operate it left in the middle of the day with no warning. Was going to do some shopping but now have to pull my very upset child into the car and leave instead. Thanks for ruining our day TWICE we will not be back a third time.

I recommend riding the train at least once if you've never been before. Nice a little ride around the "historic town"

Fun for all ages!

It is known that once every 30 years on the Eve of the winter solstice a ghostly train graces these tracks and leaves behind Big Macs, Mountain Dew and a collection of motivational tapes that have recordings of Tony Robbins and Joe Arpaio arguing about the validity of the Trans-Pacific Partnership. Life is stranger than fiction sometimes. Overall, very nice train.

What a great time we had! The conductor is an amiable, fun minded man with whom we shared great conversation. Such a beautiful little town.

Great place to walk look and talk

Great for kids and really old kids. It takes you around the back of the shops on the western half of Smithville. It's usually decorated along the route for the holidays.

Short train ride around smithville. Ride lasts about 15 minutes. Great for kids.
