Smokies Stadium

Description

Smokies Stadium is a baseball stadium located in Kodak, Tennessee, just east of Knoxville and adjacent to the tourist centers of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. The park, which opened in 2000, has a capacity of 6,412. It is the home of the Tennessee Smokies of the Southern League. Smokies Park was constructed as a replacement facility for the since shuttered Bill Meyer Stadium in Knoxville.FeaturesJust like the playing field, the grandstand is symmetrical and it extends well down the outfield lines, where stadium-style seats give way to bleachers with backs. All chair back seats contain cup holders and are painted dark green. The park has 18 suites located above the seating bowl. Each 300-square-foot suite holds 20 people and has a balcony with a dozen stadium-style seats. Suite dimensions are 20 feet deep by 13 feet wide.Party porches bookend the suites. Copper Cellar Clubhouse (first base) and Davey Crockett Porch (third base), each porch measures 33 feet deep by 28 feet wide (about 900 square feet) and has stadium seating for 26 people with 11 elevated patio chairs placed directly behind the two rows of regular seats. The porches are open-air but covered by the stadium's roof. Another porch, Calhoun's at the Yard completed in 2014, is located in left field. Pioneer Porch, added in 2015, is a smaller porch in right field suitable for group outings. The park's scoreboard, stationed behind the left field berm, features a large high-definition video board. The 36-foot wide by 17-foot high HD-X LED video display was installed in 2008 and displays crisp player pictures and real-time stats. Beneath it is a 36-foot by 9-foot broad which displays the line score.

8.29.23 Our 1st time as we've visiting from CT and wow, what a beautiful venue. Lots of parking, very clean, reasonable food and drink prices. Great entertainment for the little ones. Stadium seats around 8k from what I read. Fun foe all ages to watch. Seats are in the shade and in the sun so choose wisely.
So much fun! All the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. The facility was top notch. I can't believe they're moving in 2 years from such a beautiful stadium. We had a VIP luxury skybox, and it was phenomenal! But please go give the Tennessee Smokies your support this season! Follow me on Instagram @drksidegen to see where I'm going next!
We always enjoy the games. The promotions are fun and keep things interesting. Games are always well staffed with friendly, hard workers who appear to love their jobs. However, the parking nightmare that starts with a 30+ minute wait on the parkway to get into the park is criminal. ONE LANE to the stadium, two to get on WI40! FIX IT.
It’s really a shame that this is moving back to downtown Knoxville. Smokies stadium is a great place to hang out with family, friends, colleagues. Prices are very reasonable and the food always satisfies. Ticket prices are also reasonable. There is a section for families where no alcohol is allowed. There is a kids play area. Parking is $5 and is close to the stadium. All around great value and fun time.
I must admit that we were there for a drifting event so I can't speak to the stadium area as much. Was very easy to find, plenty of parking and nice facilities. Plenty of shaded areas inside the stadium.
Great little stadium. Family friendly for all ages. Food and drink prices are reasonable as well as the ticket prices. We had a great time.
Nice little stadium with a fun atmosphere. Drinks and food available for purchase, or you can buy the all you can eat ticket. Some item on the all you can eat buffet include hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos chips and cheese, popcorn, bag of chips, baked beans, potato salad, pop pepsi products, and all the condiments. The restrooms were clean and had plenty of stalls.
Really nice stadium with lots of amenities. Went to a Smokies game with my 3 year old daughter. They have a nice set up in right field for kids to play on a variety of inflatables. There's lots of good concessions options that are incredibly affordable. Tickets were very reasonable, and the view was great. They put on a very fun game with interactive events between innings. It was a great time overall, and I highly recommend checking this team/venue out.
First time at the Stadium. Perfect location for Largecars and Guitars Fundraiser with Aaron Tippin and Tony Justice.
Fun night at the ballpark. Parking is easy and leaving after the game was just as easy.
