Really good selection of baby related products, on the flip side the prices are really high for the goods that you are buying. As an example a baby stroller cup holder is appox. 45$ all in.
I’m honestly very disappointed with staff and their website and registry. First went in with my mom to start a registry and was hoping for some advice, it took them 20 minutes to find somebody and even then the girl kept standing at the register talking with the other girl while I was looking at them seeing if anyone would come up. After she finally came up to us, the girl told us the registry has to be done off my phone or their iPad as they don’t have scanners. She gave some tips about products but was over all average. No one explained the registry perks or how they work. We also purchased a stroller from them, but The staff doesn’t know the product at all. No one knows what comes in the box, no one knows how it works, or what attachments are needed for it. They just ordered an attachment for me and I’m 99% sure it’s the wrong one after I went online and did the research my self. The staff is basically useless in the store. Just good for check out. If you want details and actual help based on your needs go somewhere else!!! The stroller is missing some items that are supposed to be in the package and the store just told us to talk to Manufacturer, yet the warranty states contact your official retailer. Contacted the head office, hoping to get some resolutions from them. Return policy is basically non existent . You can return it if you don’t like it but only if it’s in original packaging unopened. How does that even make sense? We initially went to WEST COAST Kids As that was the only store that initially had the stroller we wanted and got amazing customer service, but once Snuggle Buggz got the stroller on their website I decided to do the registry with them since they have more stores around my location. I definitely regret it, nothing will compare to the service I got at west coast kids! Will definitely be going back there for anything I need in the future.
The store itself is nice and well layed out. I was extremely disappointed by the salesperson though. We are new to parenting and were seeking advice on strollers/joggers. She said the ONLY one we should consider is the Bugaboo $1,200+ stroller. Talk about taking advantage of the naive.
We went to the store on a Tuesday evening June 26 around 6:45pm. We were the only ones in the store. My husband was looking at three strollers that have a travel system and trying to figure them out. There were two sales rep on the floor too busy at the cash talking and whispering to each other. NO OFFER TO HELP. You would think when a customer is going through all the strollers, you would at least expect someone to offer some help or to at least put in some effort and check up on the customer. We figured out what travel stroller we wanted and left and bought it at another store. Never returning to this location again. Worst service. Truly disappointed.
Me and my husband are complete newbies and are first time parents expecting this summer. We went in yesterday to get a demo on the functionalities of both the uppaBaby Vista and the Nuna Mixx strollers and car seats and Amanda was so helpful and patient. She allowed us to fully go over both, try car seats with adaptors, drive the strollers around the store and test so we could make an informed decision. She never pressured us and always had a smile. Answered all our questions and was so reassuring and never judged any of our questions even if they seemed like basic common sense but she kept saying it was perfectly normal to ask especially if we are first timers. Overall she demonstrated great customer service and we will definitely be back!
I would recommend buying online directly from a manufacturer. We bought an Uppababy stroller and were assured that the package was never opened before taking it home. Lo and behold when we opened it for the first time the package was clearly a return due to the poor packaging, scratches, and missing documentation. I guess this is why retail is dying. Online purchases directly from a manufacturer will help you avoid the hassle of retail sketchiness.
Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and provided accurate information. We did not feel like we were being forced into a decision and they wanted to help us get the right product for our needs. They were also willing to go the extra mile to provide exemplary service. Other Snuggle Buggz locations can take some lessons from the staff here. While this location may not be as large as some of the others their customer service is top notch.
I am a first time mother to be and learning the in's and outs of preparation has been a roller coaster to say the least. I first ended up at Snugglebugz Etobicoke and felt incredibly dis-serviced by the staff who was un-knowledgeable maybe just new but trying to fake it to the point it was painful. We decided to call and go to the one in Oakville instead and just as I thought I got Yes answers to where I had no's before. It was an upside down experience. The staff at Snugglebugz Oakville really know what they are talking about. We were trying to get the baby jogger Versa stroller with an adapter that was out of stock everywhere for the Britax B-Safe Elite car seat and they were beyond helpful in tracking one down at their warehouse. When it turned out that the adapter was not actually confirmed after I had gone in the purchase the car seat, they called around to other Non-snugglebugz baby stores to help me find it so I could get the car seat I really wanted rather than settling and they had the adapter put on hold for me at Babies R Us.. On top of that they price matched the Promo from the other store on the car seat for me and they tested all the parts with the adapter I bought at a Babies R Us to make sure everything worked before I purchased an un-returnable car seat! I could have just bought the car seat at sale price at Babies R Us but I wanted to go back to Snugglebugz to buy the seat because they were so amazingly helpful! I will continue to go to this location only for all my baby needs. Great Job guys! You really made me feel like you had my best interest in mind and I felt the above and beyond costumer service that makes the WORLD of a difference for first time mothers.
Great customer service from Jacklyn and her team. I bought a new stroller with a matching display model canopy in earlier this year and I discovered months later that the canopy was from an older model. They replaced the canopy with a new one from the latest model with no issues. Thank you Snugglebugz Oakville!
Awesome customer service. Always there to go the extra mile. Jacklyn & Alesha were very helpful & well informed. Gave us unbiased information regarding the products and helped us make informed decisions. You guys are doing a great job. Keep up the good work!
