All barbeque menus are served at the table-top grill you are sitting around using real oak-tree charcoal not a gas grill. It makes more tender and juicy barbeque possible and has been an unique and historic recipe of Korean traditional barbeque for more than a thousand years.
Also we serve Korean Style Sashimi(raw fish) which is thicker and fresher than Japanese. Fresh Sushi and Rolls are available as well.
Since opened in 1995, we have proudly served the best Korean traditional cuisines to Korean-Americans in the community as well as their friends and colleagues in all ethnic groups to be proven as '소문난집 - So Moon Jan Jip' which means 'A Place of Good Reputations'. The key words to make this possible are 'Fresh' and 'Healthy', we believe.
The name, So Moon Nan Jip, is the pronunciation of Korean words, 소문난집, meaning 'a place of best reputations'. We have named it as a wish and now we are very proud to be called so.
