Went there for a festival. What a cool place and tons of beautiful hand crafted Pottery
Wife loves taking pottery classes here. People are friendly and the prices in the shop are a good deal.
Great place just down the street from where I grew up - glad to see it doing so well.
Great food and pottery and polite people. Very nice relaxing place.
Love this place! Great folks! Great art! Great classes!
This place is great! A total hidden gem. If you have anyone in your life that appreciates art and hand crafted gifts, you would do well to check their store out. So many individual, unique, beautiful handmade items at unbelievable prices. Plus it looks like they offer classes as well. And their cat is super friendly.
Such a wonderful place. Took a pottery class with some friends. class was informative and fun. Lovely gift shop and grounds. Had no idea this gem was tucked away.. I do recommend it if you are looking for something different to do or need a place for a small party.
Wonderful space for an open air concert. Nice selection in retail area, including some snacks. Heard the classes and kids camps are super fun!
Something Earthy is more than just a fabulous pottery studio. It is a place to where you can relief your life’s stress out on the clay and enjoy the friendships you gain from the diverse people who are employees, students, visitors, and customers. Linda, the owner and instructor is the most talented, inspirational, generous and kind person. She works with her students at their pace allowing them to discover their inner talents. Her classes are small so you often feel like you are receiving private lessons. She takes the time to teach different techniques like rolled rims, split rims, bubble glazing, double walled pots, and more.... Her creativity and knowledge is extensive and she is always discovering new techniques that she shares with her students. Her retail shop is charming. There are a variety of different products sold on consignment by other local artists and of course her beautiful pottery is for sale. She also sells eggs produced by her chickens and homemade, delicious and unique flavored jams. Linda also offers summer camp for kids, flower arranging, paint pre-made pottery, raku, adult and family social gatherings and birthday parties. I have been a pottery student of Linda’s for years and seen her interact with students and customers. She is very personable. You will feel like you’ve known her for years. You will not only be charmed by Linda and her pottery, but also by her spunky dogs, sleepy cats, her miniature horse, goats, and chickens. Once you see a pottery wheel turning, you will be hypnotized and what to take lessons, so be prepared to sign up for a six week class. Linda offers classes almost everyday, morning and nights. She is so hardworking- not sure how she does it. If you have never done anything artsy, no worries. No matter if your pots flop or are not perfect, clay is forgiving and once you add glaze to your pieces, it becomes works of art. You sign the bottom of your pieces and now they have become originals-one and only. Great gifts for friends and family. Do something for yourself and come visit. I am currently signed up for the Saturday class from 10 am - 12 noon. I hope to see you!
What a hidden gem between farms. So want to take some classes there. Never got to play with a potter's wheel when I was young.
