Stunning rooms, gorgeous bathroom, huge and well kept property. I thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace. Service was kind and professional. The pool was perfect. The hot tub was a lot of fun. Loved the little reading nook up the spiral staircase. I enjoyed hearing about the history of the location from one of the employees. Typical continental breakfast in the morning with plenty of food options. The drive up was refreshing. The putting green was cute. I enjoyed exploring the property. Thanks for a lovely stay. Stayed in August. Will be back.
Beautiful place to stay, felt very relaxed. Room was great! Staff was very gracious, showed us all the amenities that were available to us. Breakfast was delicious! The grounds were beautiful, made you feel like you were in another country. Will be coming back next year.Rooms: 5/5

Wow what a five-star experience! Ms. Lisa and her staff are amazing at Sonoma Coast Villa. They have been really stepping it up over the past year and it shows. They were so friendly, cater to every need and even supplied a few extra surprises. Such a wonderful and great experience I love coming here and always feel so relaxed after our stay. With all the craziness in the world going on, they really do try to make the best possible experience for their guests. Thank you so much, can’t wait to come back soon. :
I love this rustic beautiful tucked away place! Their continental breakfast is satisfying. The staff is very attentive. I love that I can bring my fur babies! The beds and fireplace is cozy.Rooms: 5/5

Very nice place I love everything about it. Nice property friendly staffs. It has pool, jacuzzi and you can book a massage while you stay there. They have continental breakfast, lady at the breakfast was very helpful to us. I will definitely return to this place. This place is pet friendly. Tobias was welcome
What am amazing place Beautiful and quiet...So serene...It was exactly what we needed...my fiance booked it as a surprise and our room was big, the bed was SO comfortable and we had a fireplace and a NICE jacuzzi bathtub that can easily accommodate 2 The staff there is extremely helpful and just plain nice. The property is well kept and the suite was impeccably clean. They even leave a bottle of wine in your room. There was a mini-fridge and hair dryer as well. What a great weekend!!! Thanks Boo
I was so excited to stay at this property based on the pictures and amenities that they have on their web site. Huge disappointment. Front desk staff inattentive at check in, no maid service, grounds are unkept and full of weeds. Our smoke alarm kept going off, front desk person unfamiliar with the problem and no maintenance person on site to fix it. The hotel room left a lot to be desired. The place is in disrepair and in need of serious upgrades. For what we paid $325 per night I feel like I’ve been ripped off. NOT a luxury resort by a long shot. I won’t be back and will not recommend to anyone.
We had an amazing experience here for our 40th wedding anniversary. First, check in was great with Martha. Martha has a fantastic sense of humor and throughout our stay she was upbeat, helpful, and happy! When she found out it was our 40th, she grabbed some wine glasses and champagne for us! She even put together the items I needed when I got a blister on my foot--that's genuine customer service. The buildings were in great condition with blooming flowers, trees, shrubs and paths making you feel as if you were in a city within the country. No traffic noise. Even when the rooms were full, we rarely saw more than 5 people, it's such a large place. The pool is not heated but there's a Jacuzzi right next door so you can run from one to the other. Our room was fantastic. It was HUGE! We couldn't figure out how to do our fire in the fireplace, so Martha came to our rescue again. The bed was really comfortable with lots of pillows. We had fresh towels as needed. Housecleaning did a great job when we requested them. There was a lot of closet and drawer space. Due to COVID, breakfast was delivered to our door every morning in a basket at our prearranged time: juice, fruit, yogurt, and Danish/crescent rolls. There are also plenty of restaurants around, with Santa Rosa 1/2 hour away, in case you wanted a hot breakfast, or even Bodega which is 1 mile away. Coffee was also available in a dining area, which we preferred over the Keurig. Their fresh brewed coffee was so good. There was also a toaster oven and microwave in the area. They had free movie nights with free popcorn, and a vendor came in with a wood fired oven for purchase of some amazing pizzas. Wine and other alcoholic beverages were available for purchase at the pizza event. IMO, the wines were really good, and husband liked the beer! Lisa the manager was also really helpful, friendly, and informative on the history of the Villa. We enjoyed her company as well, as she also took time from her busy day to make sure we were pleased with all accommodation. There were games: bocce, pickle ball, putting green, and corn hole. Since we were there for five days, we checked in with staff to see where we should visit in the area, and they had some great ideas, wonderful restaurant ideas, and even gave us info for a place we could rent horses for riding! The coastline is a short drive, and sunsets were spectacular. They have a great texting app in place so anytime you text their number, all the staff working receives the text and can determine whether or not your needs are being met, so you don't have to run to the lobby to find help! All in all, it was a great trip and we will definitely find a reason to go back to visit.
