I agree with the assessment this doctor spends about 5 minutes with me. Today he spent less than 30 seconds. He asked, "How are you feeling?" But he didn't wait for the answer. He said my EKG was normal. But, I asked, "Normal?" Because it was not completely normal in the past. By now he was walking out with his back turned, having snapped my file closed. He said, "I didn't say normal. I said OK. I mean it's normal for you." I asked for a copy, and it said abnormal. It had a diagnosis, consistent with a treatable condition. I asked, as I folowed behind him to check out, are you going to scan the carotid arteries at any time this year? He has in the past, and insurance paid. He said a new decision that they do not pay for preventive care means he cannot do it. I called Medicare and Medicare said that the doctir determines necessity, we do not. It was and is necessary. Medicare said from past records, yes, they would pay for it. I heard him and always when I am there laughing and talking with other patients, Mrs. So and so hi! Opened my door twice, asked for another patient, Ms. So and So closed the door. Ha Ha LOL!
The asisn receptionist extremely rude - several times. Once had apt., doctor couldn't see me, and the receptionidr wouldn't give me back my $40.00 that I paid first nothing. At hospital, doctor show up at the door say hello and left...not even 3 minutes! Not to mention, the doctor NEVER spent more than 4 minutes with me. It seems to me, all they care is about money. Would not recommend anyone.
I have tried to get information from this location that I have been going to for the past 5 yearsThe receptions have not followed up with me
