Soul Speaks at University of the Pacific is an interactive club and community advocacy group created by students who have a passion for the performing arts & social awareness. Through a series of workshops, on-going events, public performances and community activism Soul Speaks seeks to give students the opportunity to develop, express and present their creative outlets as a way to inspire social awareness, change and unity. Through the use of spoken word poetry, live music, dance, dramatization as well as other forms of artistic performance, Soul Speaks aspires to create a safe space for students and artists to share their art, hearts and minds.
