The University of the Pacific, Department of Educational and School Psychology offers M.A., Ed.S., and doctoral degrees.
Experts in the field of educational psychology help children learn in safe, healthy and supportive environments. Trained in both psychology and education, these professionals apply their interdisciplinary skill-set to evaluate the effectiveness of academic programs, assess students' learning abilities and partner with educators, parents and other mental health professionals to help students reach their full potential.
Completion of the Ed.S. (Educational Specialist) in School Psychology degree and credential enables you to practice as a school psychologist in Calfornia's public schools. This program requires two years of full-time coursework with corresponding fieldwork in local schools, and culminates in an additional third-year internship, which is usually well paid. The Ed.S. program is fully approved by the National Association of School Psychologists. Consequently, all of our graduates are also automatically eligible for the National Certificate in School Psychology. Evening and on-line classes, as well as part-time programs are available. Admission Information can be found on our website listed below.
