It’s your average high end mall where you can do your window shopping here. But I personally wouldn’t buy anything because everything is so expensive. This place is more for tourists than locals. Bathroom is crowded and hard to find.
I stumbled up the mall while being in little Italy Meggiano and was glad to find this quiet spacious fancy spot that still had a cool cafe / restaurant rather than a food court and crowds. Multiple designer stores, fashion trend shops, and sport fashion
gathering of international brands, the best mall in the region and provides good spaces for enjoying and a modern architectural bridge that connects with the furnishings and home care area. I definitely recommend visiting the mall, and I also see that Macy’s in this mall is very large and has all the details that you need
Well known very High Quality Shopping Mall. Is really a great location in a beautiful coastal climate. Super large sprawling space/layout with many really high quality shops and eateries. Feels very safe and not too crowded at all when we visited.
Very beautiful and large mall. Lots of high end stores and restaurants. Definitely come if your in the area!
A great shopping center at Irvine with plenty of parking and things to do. But today I was hugely disappointed and upset with the staff at the family restroom. It was 6.45pm and we entered the family restroom because my 7 months old boy pooped. We tried to clean his bum but we were told off by genitor that and they rushed us that they are closing down in 10 minutes. We had to leave the restroom without washing and now my baby has diaper rash on his bum. What kind of genitor are you? We were so upset with your attitude and rudeness. Why is there family restroom?!
SCP or South Coast Plaza may well be the best shopping mall around! I want to stress the emphasis on shopping. Unlike other malls in decline, SCP appeals to the high end consumers. There may be trendy plaza’s and strip malls with the same named upscale shops, tho here’s a fine example of a large enclosed shopping mall surviving the times! This mall has it all for style. From simple casual, to top of the line exclusive! It’s like getting the inside scoop of Rodeo Dr for those who can fork it out! If all the choices leave a lot on the plate, it’s because shoppers may be hungry for more than a just a hastily prepared bite. Here at SCP, the shopping and dining quality counts towards the overall satisfaction! Shops and restaurants here are known for the attention to detail and tend to be of higher value. There’s additional shops and restaurants across Bear Street in the South Coast Plaza West. The South Coast Plaza Village to the north of Sunflower Street, has more restaurants and an art gallery. Ride the merry-go-round with the kids at one of two carousel’s, a large one in the main mall and a small one in the west mall. Parking is vast and may be preplanned if not familiar with the overall layout. I’d recommend looking at the Google Maps closeup when going to lots and garages closest to the approximate location of particular stores, or randomly parking anywhere, with some point of reference. Nothing’s worst than hauling boxes and bags around while having to look for the car! So I always note the row or column designation, even good to snap a photo of that if it helps to remember where the vehicle’s parked. I like to screenshot my blue dot location on the map too. I had good wireless signal strength of 4 bars inside the garage along Bear Street, next to Nordstrom’s. If there’s ever doubts on the whereabouts, look for the mall security to help out. They’re quite visible outside and inside the mall. The staff keeps an eye out for the shops and shoppers safety! I’m including a small sampling of photos, taking it to the limit. There’s much more to see and more being added, so I hope my review helps to decide on making a visit!
Love coming here with my son. It's always pleasant and relaxing. The atmosphere is amazing. They have a huge selection of stores, and the place is massive. There is so much to do and see there. Very clean, organized, and upscale.
Shopping in South coast plaza is a “JOY” An elegant indoor place to shop … high end brands, boutiques, casual brands, shops for children, cafes & restaurants… and lots more Across the road there is a section for elegant furniture shops & beautiful kitchenware brand
I love this huge shopping center that features a myriad of designer and upscale boutiques as well as more approachable department stores. It’s difficult to leave empty handed after visiting here. The Louis Vuitton tree and Tiffany Christmas ornament are a must see. The Christmas Village is a good place to visit with the younger kids.
