South Dakota State University was founded in 1881 as the state's only Morrill Act land-grant institution. SDSU offers eight different colleges representing more than 175 majors, minors and specializations. The institution also offers 30 master's degree programs, 13 doctorate and two professional programs. Our campus is located on the eastern side South Dakota in Brookings. Other satellite locations include Sioux Falls, Pierre and Rapid City.
