This Park should have 6 stars! Rich and Deb are FABULOUS. The park is very good security, extremely clean, extremely neat, laundry was great AND it is very pretty, staff second to none. Cannot say enough good about our experience. Can't wait to return to visit Family. We have a 42ft coach with a jeep behind, unhooked jeep on arrival as expected and had a GREAT time. Nearby activities: Lots to see around Tucson.
The RV sites are roomy and clean, pool and spa are beautiful, but it's the staff that really stands out. We made a last minute reservation and they were more than willing to accommodate us coming in after 5pm. We were greeted with smiling faces and they explained everything about the park then guided us to our space. Totally recommend staying here!
Date: February 1-8 2023. We came across South Forty RV Park after looking at all of the major RV parks in the Tucson area. The things we love about South Forty are first and foremost, The Staff! Very friendly and helpful in all ways to us. The office staff and park management are extremely personable and helpful. A HUGE benefit that we appreciate is the Camp Host program. They escort you to and from your site to ensure there are no problems! We really like how they adhere to things like keeping speed under control in the park. It is for everybody’s safety and enjoyment! Everyone in this park is so friendly and pleasant. A very happy and kind atmosphere for sure! For us, the location for cycling The Loop is ideal. The amenities are just what we need and all are clean and well cared for. Great Job South Forty!!!
Clean, well maintained park. VERY secure! Definitely more of a full time living park. We arrived after hours and were greeted at the gate by the on call host to help us with a spot. Bathrooms and showers were clean, good temp and pressure and the shower stall was spacious. The Camp Host even invited us to stay another night to join their Christmas potluck. That was super sweet Would recommend making a reservation and/or getting there before they close the office. Entrance is not well visible at night time.
If you’re longer than 30 FT TT ask for the overflow spot or just stay away. This is an “adults only” park that feels like they only want 55+. We were booked in a site that we were never going to fit in even if we had gotten there within the mythical hidden check in times. The office ladies are really nice… but if you don’t get your list of “rules” when you book your site apparently they’ll never be given to you, even when requested several times. Any one who works in the golf cart can only be described as “helicopter parents” waiting to “escort you” out even if you’re early to leave like we were. Tucson is beautiful and a fun town we’ll love to visit again, but we will never stay in this park again. If I could give this a zero star I would.
For being right in town, nice place. Can be noisy at times. Our spot was clean and the surrounding landscaping is well maintained. Laundry was clean.
I am hesitant to do a review of South Forty RV Ranch/Park because it is such a nice place in such a nice area that it might become too popular! Honestly, it is clean, well-managed and the people, residents and staff, are very friendly! We’ve been here since September and plan to come back next fall as well! Just a note; we visited Tucson last February and visited over 35 RV parks in the area and our top pick was South Forty RV Ranch/Park and we have not been disappointed one bit!
Great Place! Very clean and extremely well maintained. 24/7 security means you'll never have to worry about your rig. Deb and Rich who run the place stay on top of things, know almost everyone, and organize many fun activities that make it a fun place to stay. Highly recommend staying here!
We arrived when office closed early and were guided to an awkward back in site. We were next to the dog park, feet from a major road, thick loose gravel pad. and could not open our awning. Yet, there were dozen of better empty spaces. Came back to rv next day after outings and we were infested with ants, thousands of ants. Spent that evening spraying and cleaning, complete disaster. We moved to a nereby facility that has solid spaces to escape the ants. When we left the porter who escorts you in and out was kind and assured us of a refund again office closed. We'll several calls voice mail only and 2 emails later, NO REPLY AT ALL. Not even the courtesy of an email. They kept our $100 deposit non refundable i suppose, a response would have gone a long ways towards customer satisfaction, pretty expensive for one night and a huge mess.
Busy, and must have problems with customers as the ranger was very particular and demanding. Price was the highest of our 4400 mile trip.
