I had only good experiences at this Hospital. I have used the emergency dept. The young lady at check in set a very high standard. She was friendly, attentive, and professional. The rest of the staff I encountered along the way today did not let that high standard slip. They were all caring, and professional. I have been a Nurse for 19 years, most of which as a coordinator. I know the nurse managers are proud of their staff. Thank You All. Lenard Morris
This is the worst hospital in ga , Grady Has Them Beat You Are Better Off Going To A Walk In Clinic Been Here Going On Two Hours And Haven’t Gotten Seen Yet. The Staff Is Ridiculous Rude except check in lady. I asked one staff/nurse can she check how far I was she rolled her eyes and said yea I’ll check for you but didn’t even ask my name so how can you check this will be my last time at this facility I can’t even call it a hospital that’s just how bad they are they changed the name but I guess the kept the same rude staff I wouldn’t recommend nobody to come here if you can go elsewhere please do or you will be dead before you get seen or cared for
I have ongoing health issues so I am often in the ER...I have had an overall good experience at this hospital. The nurses and doctors move fairly fast i think the longest i have been in was 6 or 7 hours mainly due to tests
This time was much better than the other times ive been here i wss admitted having a serious asthma attack it took forever to be triaged and even given a breathing treatment and i could barely talk and breathe when i got there i waited over 20mins before they even gave me a treatment and if it wasn't for one of the nurses in triage who felt sorry for me i wouldn't have had one then i dont know her name but i thank God for her she helped save my life by making them give me one because she said she couldnt take my condition anymore it was getting to her the way i was struggling to breathe and was coughing really bad but once i got to the back the Dr saw to it i was taken care of immediatly and when i was admitted i was treated very well by the nurses and the pcp dr on duty i was in room 3113 they even remembered me from being in there months ago that made me feel good so this hospital isnt all bad once youre admitted the 3rd floor staff was awesome even the social worker and case mgr on duty the days i was their were awesome
My daughter was there for chest pain and kidney failure after one day she was dismissed with no medication she explained to doctor that her chest hurts and it’s hard for her to swallow she was informed to go home and buy throat lozenges
I have been waiting in the waiting room four hours I'm major pain they are moving extremely slow no one here look like the are friendly and the facility is very nasty house keep only cleaned one side of the waiting room it's sad that in the black neighborhoods this is all we get I would bring my dying gold fish here it's so bad
To those that may not know, South Fulton Medical Center is now Atlanta Medical Center. It is about 1 mile West on the same street.
It is too bad I can't post the picture of how filthy this place is. Soil spots and trash on the floor. Horrible!!!!!
I wouldn't take a DOG to this trailer trash hospital. TERRIBLE SERVICE & VERY, VERY COSTLY!
Used Google to find this hospital but it's no longer open. The building is up for sale.
