If I could leave 0 stars for this taxi service I would. Door to door service is a lie. They make you walk to another hotel. The day we were to return home we went to the hotel on our confirmation notice. In addition the man that had dropped us off also, told us we would be picked up there. The day of no one showed up. It took several phone calls to reach anyone. The lady on the phone said that the time and place for pick up had changed and that an email had went out to everyone and everyone confirmed receipt of email. Which was a complete lie. My friend and I neither of which received any such emails. I checked and checked spam folder. Now we are waiting on a second taxi from them which isn’t arriving until after 12. We may miss our flight. I just wanted everyone to know that you will not be picked up at your hotel. In addition you may end up needing another taxi to make your flight. This company has very poor customer service nor do they take any responsibility for their mistakes. Beware!
Fun airport to fly into. Views are incredible. For an added treat, every once in a while you see a plan off the end of the runway. I'm guessing density altitude miscalculation. Do you math before landing/taking off.
I flew into Lake Tahoe and the overall experience was very good. With the noise abatement procedures requesting one way in on 18 and one way out on 36 the pattern was a little tricky. There happened to be about 5 airplanes in a row leave 36 so I ended up landing 36 to get in with the flow. Once on the ground the line service was top notch, and they had answers for any question you could throw at them. The FBO was well equipped and there seemed to be many options for ground transportation. I cant wait for the snow to melt off and spend more time flying up here to hike and camp in Tahoe.
Everything went well with our request for reservations and all. Our only concern is one dinner was not delivered as it was only a soup and salad meal and tables after us and bar drinks were all delivered before our meals. Our soup and salad order never came so one guest was without a meal. We made sure that request was taken of the bill. How disappointed for a guests first visit here
Beautiful airport. Miss you all. Thanks for a great summer. Hope winter caught everyone up after fire season. Great place to visit even while working the fires. Amazing staff great friendly community. I must see people. Really, pictures don't show how beautiful it really is there. Careful and respect wildlife. Bears are all over and many other beautiful animals.
Nice executive airport catering to business jets and other high-end aircraft. Scenic helicopter rides are available here too. Stop and have lunch or dinner at the Flight Deck Sports Bar & Grill overlooking the runway. Order their New England style clam chowder ... it's the best!
Good reception here, and beautiful scenery. Great spot for a fly-in just don’t try it in the middle of a blizzard.
Scheduled the 6:07 AM shuttle from Harrah's to Reno. Shuttle never arrived. When I spoke to the Valet at Harrah's he provided me with a schedule and informed me that there "was no 6:07AM shuttle". Poorly operated service.
I absolutely loved it I have a disability my right leg doesn't bend and Joshua helped me figure out how to get in the helicopter and the pilot Marius was a great pilot and narrator, I loved the helicopter ride and everyone was so helpful and nice
