I visited this facility recently and left extremely impressed. From the guided tour, I met some of the uniformed officers and the professionals in dispatch. I couldn't be more proud of the quality leadership of those working. The South Miami Police Department is filled with dedicated and thoughtful professionals. I would like to say thank you to South Miami police department for helping out my wife today she was traveling to miami and had her vehicle towed out of a parking lot. The tow company which took her car is more then corrupt and was trying to keep her vehicle. When she called them they would hung up the phone on her when she arrived. They were very rude to her and told her to call her lawyer because shes not getting her vehicle back.  It could have easily escalated into a huge nightmare I myself work in the tow industry and know how these snacht truck companies work I'm very grateful that she's able to get a vehicle back with the help of the police department.  I cannot express how grateful I am that you're department has police officers that can handling a situation like this. Thank you very very very much

I was out at the 1600 Tequila Club my last day there .I had the best time singing karaoke a reggae vision of Charlie Puth song My girl Dre was wearing glamorous outfit ..Model for Carnival the police where so wonderful at 130am I was honored to be deep in south beach . Had a great time .... I was wondering this year for the CARIBBEAN PARADE IN ONTARIO WHICH I NEVER GO TO WILL DRAKE OR THE WEEKNED TURN UP ... OH YEA BACK TO MIAMI POLICE WITH CHICAGO AND NEW YORK THEY CAN TELL IF YOUR BORN IN ANY COUNTRY....AGAIN ANY COUNTRY

Wells is COVID19 time and everyone is at home; greeting to all the officers helping the community including dectetive Jose Alvarez Im not an officer im just a techonlogy  researcher helping the community and friends see how technology is paving the future in this critical times.

We just have situation with a towing company and the cops that take care of us in the location we’re amazing with us.  God Bless you guys!

I don't have words to thank.

Michael and I visited there in December 2016 and showed us everything. That was so great and unforgettable. He personally received a challenge coin from Chief Landa of course Michael also had something to trade with him We drank a Cuban coffee with Officer A Alvarez and then sat in the car during an operation. Wow that was exciting. You were all super nice, THANK YOU.

Chief Landa personally presented me with a challenge coin, which is at the top of my small collection, I am very proud of it, thank you Chief Landa.. And Officer Alvarez invited us to Cuban coffee and afterwards we were even allowed to take part in an operation, which was very adventurous and exciting, unforgettable. THANK YOU SIR ALVAREZ.. Overall, it was a nice day and also included a great tour of the department.
