Southeast Community Health Systems' mission is to serve all patients regardless of their ability to pay.
SCHS is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides primary and preventative care in five rural-based communities in southeast Louisiana. As a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization, SCHS provides medical, dental, and behavioral health services. We also offer sport physicals, health screenings, acute care for minor illness/injury, comprehensive exams, immunizations, and some chronic disease management.
Through funding from the Louisiana Office of Public Health, SCHS works in conjunction with the St. Helena Parish school system to provide school based health centers on the elementary and high school campuses.

Monday - Thursday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Friday (8:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
We offer extended hours of 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM throughout the week as follows:
Monday - Albany
Tuesday - Independence
Wednesday - Kentwood & Zachary
Thursday - Greensburg
