The nurse practitioner, Sara Wright, will leave you waiting for 3 hours and come in and evaluate you for 10 minutes while trying to run out the door! It's honestly amazing how this place is still in business... very little care is shown to their patients and the nurse tech Rosalinda has the ugliest attitude for no reason. There needs to be immediate improvement for me to ever come back to this place. Crazy.
Horrible service, when you can get appointments it’s for months out. We had it when the doctor denied my daughter’s visit because she was “busy” then sent a nurse to try to find out what my daughter needed to be seen for instead of actually come out and seeing her! Don’t waste your time with the clinic on 36th street or Dr. Sabrina Solorzano.
I've had only good experiences at Southwest University Family Health Center. Sure you have to wait sometimes, but this is normal. They don't rush you out the door and treat you like a number. They take time with their patients and make sure they are getting the treatment they deserve. The receptionists, med students, nurses, and doctors - they are all friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I've seen Dr. Nathawat and Dr. Whiteley, and I'm honestly just impressed at the quality of my care. 5 stars well earned.
Jeanette Pena, Pharmacy lasian is wonderful. I have no other amazing words to say about her, or I'd be here forever. I called about my ozempic; no other pharmacy in town had it, and she was on it as fast as a cat can run from a pack of dogs. I honestly haven't seen this great service in many years. So I been a patient for four years now never any issues until now. My doctor left to a different location never was informed no email, letter nothing. I have severe hypertension and diabetes I was left with no prescriptions and was told that they are sorry but I would have to wait for an appointment. My point is they really don't care about us. I could only hope I don't have a stroke until next month
Had appointment today at 12:30 was after 1 approximately 45 minutes after scheduled appointment, others that arrived after us were being called in prior to us maybe appointment was prior to my appointment but when av1 o'clock appointment gets called prior to you that's ridiculous, I understand that there are different Dr 's to a clinic but at least inform the patient what the delay is previous appointment with Dr. V. Vasquez was cancelled and rescheduled for today but it was useless seeing I was even seen so I myself cancelled and rescheduled for Dr V. Vasquez in October
We have been with them for almost 2 yrs and its time for a change. My sons doctor is on maternity leave, and now I can't get his medication refilled without him being seen in person. And no appointments for over a month! So he just gets to go without his daily meds. Unfortunately, it has always been difficult to get a timely appointment and even the urgent care will fill up and not be able to help you.
This was my first ever visit and everything was going good until I started talking to the Dr. The first thing she told me was that I didn't have the problem in which I do have and blood work confirmed I have it so I had to log into mychart website pull up my messages and show her where it was confirmed I have a blood related issue. And after that I tried to explain what happened to me over the last month while I was in two separate hospitals and the pain I still have she simply told me it was muscle related omg I rather read fortune cookies and get better diagnosis than to let Dr. Hussain see me again. If you absolutely positively have to come to this clinic please avoid her by all means. Unless you are ok with her telling you something completely different from the reason you came in there in the first place. You will have better luck spending your time in the drive thru at McDonald's during lunch rush hour than you will here.
Bad attitude, on top of that I made an appointment for my 8 week pregnant girlfriend. The lady on the phone “confirmed” my appointment just for them to tell me in my face that I have to comeback another day because apparently I never called them a gave them all of her info. Please get those young lady some more training or a lecture on how to talk to people and how to do their desk job the right way.
Made an appointment yesterday for my toddler to get his flu shot. I was asked to pick the appointment time and I selected 2:45pm. The exact location is the Express Med Clinic in hallway B. Well..... when we arrived the receptionist stated that it is a first come first serve setup. I was furious!!! Why ask for a appointment time if I will have to wait over an hour because it’s not by appointment time?! This system keeps failing me! Why am I paying for this insurance if it does not benefit those would take time to make appointments, arrive on time, or maintain routine health checks?! Update: well now I understand how much more disorganized this place is. If your paperwork is processed and placed in a stack in a nurse triage bin then other patients that come after you will have their paperwork processed as well but placed above yours so...if you are paper A they will pick up and call those with papers F, E, D, C, B, and THEN A. I was trying to be optimistic when I noticed others that arrived after us were being seen sooner thinking “we’ll..maybe they had a different doctor or different reason for being seen.” Not the case. Those people had their paperwork pulled from the same nurse triage holder that my paper is STILL sitting in. Poor organization, horrendous service, astronomical lack of empathy for other’s time. We left there 2 hours later. The LVN named C. Was of no help either. She took her sweet time to give two shots. Ridiculous!!!
