Southwood Animal Hospital offers comprehensive veterinary care for your family pets. Since 1983, the doctors at Southwood Animal Hospital have built a solid local reputation for quality veterinary services. Our hospital is family owned and operated and is deeply involved in community outreach.

We provide a full range of medical services including vaccinations, surgery (soft tissue and orthopedic), dental prophylaxis and surgical procedures, in-house blood work, digital radiographs, ultrasound, and Companion Laser Therapy. We offer 24-hour emergency services to our patients. We also have on site professional groomers and a boarding facility.

Our medical staff guarantees compassionate, quality, and affordable veterinary services. Our family includes a multiple doctor team and several licensed veterinary technicians as well as qualified assistants. We will do all we can to ensure a positive, pleasant experience for you and your pet. This was my first time using Southwood Animal Hospital and I was honestly blown away by how friendly and informative everyone was! My pup Diddles is a very nervous girl and although she wasn’t thrilled to be there, she was more comfortable with them than she’s ever been with anyone. From the front desk to checking out, everyone was so nice! For a first timer I felt very welcomed and was treated as if I’d been there a million times. Thank you, Southwood!
Omar, Eric, and Dr. Lewis are AMAZING. I wish I could remember the front desk woman’s name, she was also incredible - so polite from the time I called to book our appt. I had several questions for the vet because we just moved here from a different climate and everybody was so patient with me. The exam room was also very clean! I cannot thank y’all enough for making a difference for us.
Every visit I have had at Southwood has been amazing. My first interaction was for assistance in helping my sweet MJ cross the rainbow bridge. She was so ill and suffering. The vet and staff at Southwood were so comforting. They brought us through the back door so we wouldn't have to go through the lobby. We stayed with her the whole time, loving her and petting her. They let us stay after as long as we needed to until we took her home. We now have three rescued hounds and will not go to any other vet. They love on your pets and do everything they can to make them feel comforted, even when drawing blood or giving shots. I 100% will not take my hounds anywhere else. After neutering, they call and check up. Amazing people who love animals. To top it off, they are reasonably priced, not cheap, reasonable.
Dr. Williams and the team at Southwood Animal Hospital are great. We used them several years ago when we had our first Yorkie. Now we have a new Yorkie and Dr. Williams was our first stop. We highly recommend Southwood and Dr. Williams and the terrific team there.
The staff was so considerate and helpful when my dachshund needed neurosurgery. They made all the connections and arrangements to get us to the best place and even supported me while I had mini breakdown!
Dr. Williams is hands-down the best vet there is! She is so kind and caring, compassionate and understanding. She has nothing but my dogs health & best interest at heart. All of the staff are amazing as well. I feel like they treat my dog as if he is their own. I wish I could give them 100 stars!
Dr grim you were amazing! This establishment fit us in last minute due to our feline having difficulties. She spent time with us and explained everything. If I lived in this area this would be my full time vet! Ac or no ac this is the place to go!
I have a cat. She got excellent care. The vet was amazing!!! So much expertise!!! So glad my cat will get the best of care here. There is no cat room. We sat in the car until her appointed time. Very professional staff and courteous too!!!
Dr. Williams, Omar, and Eric were extremely nice, patient and caring towards my dog and me. It was an hr long wait in the waiting room, however they didn't rush me once I was back there or make me feel like they were too busy for me. Love Southwood animal hospital and have been going here since we moved to Warner robins in 2003.
The entire team at Southwood are professional and knowledgeable. They took the time to check out all my concerns. They ran tests and took xrays to ensure we knew exactly what is going on with my baby. Dr. William even called me on Saturday to check on us and to talk to us further regarding our concerns. I've been to several other vets in the area and I didn't feel as confident knowing they can diagnose what is happening. They go the extra mile and I can't thank them enough.
