I did not have a good experience with this place. I was a walk-in, so I knew I would have to wait. I was with my mom; it was my birthday; I was fine with waiting. The ladies at the front desk told me a half hour, so I went to look around a store. That took more than a half hour, so I went back to the nail salon to see if we were getting close. We were not. Again, I was fine waiting, but tell me how long. Don't tell me 30 minutes because you are afraid I will go elsewhere. I could have gotten lunch, but now I'm stuck here and getting hangry. After saying I was just going to leave, they found someone to take my mom. I was getting both a manicure and a pedicure, while my mom was just getting a manicure. They had chairs open, so I don't know why they took my mom first knowing she would be done before me. Horrible time management seems to be a theme here. Her $24 manicure lasted less than two days before completely peeling off. Finally they started my pedicure. About half way through, my mom was done and they hadn't started my manicure. I said I didn't need it because I didn't want my mom to be waiting for me. Again, miraculously, they found someone to start my manicure. Lastly, it was pretty expensive for the service and cleanliness or lack thereof of the salon. I wouldn't recommend this place.Services: Pedicure
MY LAST TIME HERE! Don’t even bother making an appointment!! Finally starting 31 minuets after my scheduled time!!! EVERY SINGLE TIME and I mean EVERY TIME I’ve been here it’s been the same old song and dance! JUST trying to give a local business my business…I’m DONE!!!!
We came in to celebrate a birthday and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The drink options were better than I expected and the mimosas were delicious! Definitely spend the extra dollars on the glamour pedicure. Make sure you allot for extra time because you will not want to leave. our pedicures were amazing!
This is my best friend and I's, go to salon to get our toes done 2x a month. We get the celebrity treatment gel for me. Always great service!!
The first time I came here it was a Tuesday. The lady who did my nails was amazing and did a great job, I live 45 minutes away from La mesa so it isn't a close drive to this salon. I called the salon this morning Sunday asked for an appt for a Mani / pedi arrived and they didn't schedule me for a pedi. Whoever did my Mani didn't listen when I said I wanted gel. I get the same thing on my nails so I can be in and out... Well idk what this lady did but my gel mani is horrible. Its uneven, chunky and I honestly could have done a better job. Also i wasnt asked if i wanted a beverage, why have a bar and offer refreshments if the employees dont inquire if we would like something? Im very disappointed in this visit. Didn't get a pedicure either.
I have been coming to this nail shop for a while. I have had no problems with the nail technicians. They offer drinks in the back which is a nice service, however, the last couple of times the person providing this service is very inconsistent and makes it seem like a real inconvenience. We went a few days ago and was there an hour and never did get offered a drink although it was obvious they had provided this service to people and then as we were leaving she came back to provide drink service to someone. I realize this is an extra service, however, we come to get our nails done and relax. If you are going to provide a service you should provide the service consistently, not selectively, which is what it appeared to be. This same person works the front desk a lot and she isn't very friendly nor does she seem to really want to be there doing her job. This attitude brings the whole business down.
Good nail spa, friendly staff, good prices. Tried to walk in on Sunday however everything was booked but scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. Front desk staff polite and friendly. Loved the bar idea but they only accept cash for drinks and tips which would be nice if they tell in advance as their atm charge fees for cash withdrawal. When I booked my appointment I asked for a specific brand CND Shellac and front desk girl said that they offer that but when I came to do nails they gave me to choose from different brands which is also Gel Polish like OPI, DND but she kept insisting it is "Shellac" so they either don't know or just trying to push whatever they have. It is misleading though. Rose I think that was lady's who did nails name did good job and I hope nails won't chip off too soon. Overall good experience however I don't think I will be returning since they don't offer gel polish I prefer.
The lady that did my manicure was nice but I mean for $17 dollars I would expect her to take off the dry stuff from my heels. And also I was waiting for my toenails to dry and one of the other ladies was rushing me to get off the chair because she needed it, she was very rude. The only good thing was the beer.
