As an ambitious, young woman growing up in a small town in the Philippines, Meryann began her career as a businesswoman, after obtaining a degree in business from Notre Dame of Kidapawan College in the Philippines. Along the way she discovered that her real passion was making people look and feel their very best. Meryann combined those two passions when she opened her first salon in Montreal which she ran successfully before moving to Ottawa. Once in Ottawa, she spent nearly a decade serving clients at some of Ottawa's most respected Aveda concept salons. In March 2016, Meryann opened her own signature salon in the heart of the Byward market.
