After the oral surgeon butcher my mouth removing 17 teeth I went back to my family dentistry sparkling smile. My insurance wanted me to return to oral surgeon to remove several pieces of teeth and bone or they wouldn't pay. I refused to return and Dr McGee being very understanding to money struggle these days removed teeth bone on 3 visits, only charged me for supplies. No physician bill!!! She was awesome. My nurse Logan was nice and understanding also treats You like she's a old friend and puts u at ease. THANK YOU SPARKLING SMILE
My two boys and I have been going here for a few years now. We've always had a pleasant experience and they are patient with us. Thank you!
Dr. McGee and her staff were all excellent! She fit my tight schedule and worked me in. I needed to get ortho extractions done. One tooth was crooked and really gave us a hard time. Dr. McGee was able to get it out despite it having a very crooked root and being wedged tightly between two other teeth. Her dental assistant was thinking ahead and gave me some ibuprofen in between extractions so my ride home would be bearable. I greatly appreciated that because that one crooked tooth site is really going to be sore. All of the staff I encountered were very kind and pleasant. I definitely recommend this practice for children as well, because every kid in there seemed happy and fearless.
Dr. McGee is the worst. She came into the room and poked me with a needle type saying she had to fill-in my cavity’s but a heads up would have been great. She just comes and pokes my gum like nothing, I asked her what she was doing, her assistant had just told me it was a cleanup but she got all mad and she’s like do you wanna proceed I said no. Got up and walked out. She is very rude
So I went to them with an abscess tooth and they pulled it the same day which I was fine with the nurses or aids where very friendly and fun to be around. Then the doctor comes in and is rude which I know my teeth are far from perfect but come on be professional. Then I started noticing that I had drainage so I went back and told them what was going on and again nurses where great but doctor was rude and said that it would go away on it’s on. Two days later done over the phone doctor and had an antibiotic for it same day. Today went to a new dentist that was extremely polite and genuinely cared what was going on not to mention the prices are way better. Pick a different dentist please unless your teeth are perfect or have a child maybe they are different to children...
We have always had very good experiences here. We did have one issue with a missed appointment that had left me feeling like we needed to reassess things. However the manager came out and we got it worked out. So just make sure you keep your appointments or give a good amount of time to cancel instead of just forgetting to go like me. The hygienists are always so friendly and good with the kids.
Dentists are good but reception sucks. They don't cancel appointments when you cancel them ,then send no show letters threatening to dismiss you. They don't work in painful teeth .I was told a year out .Attitude of reception is horrible.Me and my child are dismissing THEM as our practice and don't recommend them .Barely deserve one star.Use to be a good place to go for dental work .
I love this place they are so nice and helpful and explain everything so that you can understand. They have been doing my daughters dentist work ever since she's gotten teeth. They are phenomenal.
Everyone is absolutely amazing! I have had nothing but a positive experience here. No judgements on how much work needs to be done, they just get it done and are very respectful and compassionate. I would absolutely recommend this dentist to anyone who is looking and may have some dental anxiety.
First bad experience was when my daughter had a fall at school and hurt her tooth, they couldn't get her in for 2 weeks. I took her elsewhere and it was a serious problem and she has to eat a liquid diet for the next 2 weeks. Second bad experience, I had what the dentist diagnosed as an abscessed tooth, she wrote antibiotics and said to come back in 2 weeks for extraction. Problem was that she never spoke to me, not once the entire time, she would only speak to and acknowledge her assistant. I felt like something was off so I went to another dentist whom after looking at the xrays, says it's not an abscess but a cyst and that my nerves were wrapped tightly around it and he could not remove it. He immediately set me up with an oral surgeon. The oral surgeon agreed that it could absolutely not be done while I was awake. They all saw xrays taken days apart. Sparkling Smiles just didn't care. They also once diagnosed my daughter with a cavity that somehow dissapeared from one appointment to the other. Thankfully, I had decided to wait to fill it. Glad I did since it was not ever there.Fast forward a year and I'm have a broken tooth and missing filing, decide to give them one more chance as I'm in pain and can't wait. Well, yet again, they showed they don't care. They can get me in one week but not as an urgent appointment but a cleaning. I told her I can't eat or drink and I damn sure can't handle a cleaning right now. It didn't matter, for me to come, I have to wait a week and have a cleaning. I don't understand why I can't just have an xray and the problem fixed. Who can handle their broken teeth being cleaned? If you like being invisible to the dentist and being misdiagnosed and in extreme pain for weeks, go to Sparkling Smiles. Thankfully now Randolph County has more dentist offices to use.
