Sparr’s Florist and Greenhouses has been family owned and operated for over 53 years. Louis Sparr started the business in 1952 as a wholesale greenhouse, specializing in bedding plants, potted plants and cut flowers. With the help of his son, Dennis, the Sparr’s established a regular wholesale route, selling high quality plants and cut flowers to florists in the Detroit area. At the same time, they provided the same high quality product to the public at the Ann Arbor and Eastern markets.
