In recent months, the pharmacy’s customer service has been nothing short of atrocious and unprofessional Takes days for prescriptions to be ready, more often than not medication is not in stock and staff is extremely rude, and lack a sense of privacy when announcing people’s prescriptions from behind the counter. Tried to have prescription transferred because it wasn’t available here, and Sparta pharmacy didn’t answer the phone multiple times from multiple people when trying to transfer the prescription. This ongoing issue is extremely dangerous for those who require their medication in timely manner.
First time here for my mother in law to get her booster shot and everything worked out smooth. No long lines, no long wait and all done in about 20 minutes. The pharmacy is well-organized with friendly staff and the bright lights offer a welcoming atmosphere. While the pharmacy store is not necessarily big, it is structured in a way that it would meet all a person's needs from just looking around the place.
Amazing customer service! They helped me get my prescription when others couldn't. I have mine delivered out of state and it comes very quick and in great packaging with ice packs, etc. Would highly recommend over commercial stores. You get a much better personal experience. Sparta Pharmacy is pleasant to work with from communication to delivery. The new text for delivery system is a plus I knew when to expect my package which added to the already amazing delivery service. Thank you!
My husband was just in there and had a terrible experience. He was ignored for 10 minutes when there was one other patient in the pharmacy, and nine people working behind the counter. I wish I could say that this was an isolated incident, but it has become the norm with Sparta pharmacy. In fact, everyone I speak to has terrible things to say about the decline in customer service and care at Sparta pharmacy. In addition to taking hours, sometimes days to fill a prescription, the level of professionalism is atrocious. There is no such thing as patient confidentiality. Employees speak loudly about patients’ medications without a thought or concern of who else can hear. We will no longer be coming there, and I am referring everyone I know to North country pharmacy, where the experience is 100 times better, even though they have far fewer employees.
Sparta Pharmacy is very professional and quick with filling prescriptions. I’ve had them delivered and I’ve picked them up. Very family oriented and a very clean store! I just wish they weren’t so far from me.

All, I want to address the response I received from the owner of Sparta Pharmacy regarding my genuine review. While they acknowledged the issues and apologized, I am disheartened by their insinuation that my review may have been generated by an AI language model called ChatGPT. This comes across as unprofessional and dismissive of my genuine concerns. Their attempt to undermine my feedback by questioning its authenticity is deeply disappointing. It seems to negate the sincerity of their previous apology and fails to address the lack of compassion I experienced during my interaction with the pharmacy. As customers, we deserve to be treated with empathy and respect, regardless of the method through which we express our experiences. To be mocked and undermined once again only exacerbates the initial disheartening encounter. My review was based on a real-life experience, and I stand by its authenticity. Sparta Pharmacy has provided reliable service for receiving medications in a safe and prompt manner. They are easy to communicate with and much better than any other pharmacy that I have used. Highly recommend.
