Nice time, relaxed atmosphere, and helpful staff. Held the kids attention longer than I thought it would. Hopefully they learned a little too.
Hate to give it 1 star because it looked cool, but the dude at the desk said it shut its doors permanently at the end of December.

Fantastic orginal South Carolina map collection was shared with me by owner who also was Saturday afternoon curator. If you love maps this is a must see.
My wife and I visited the museum today. We'd like to compliment Mr. Ron Swain. Mr. Swain spoke to us for at least an hour about maps, map making, and some truly fascinating history surrounding them. Please thank him. We truly enjoyed this experience!
