My Spectrum experience has not been great since we moved here a year ago. We had difficulties and getting anyone to do anything about it was near impossible. Customer service was rude as was one of the Techs sent to the house. Issue finally resolved after many days, phone calls and techs in the home. Fast forward to Sep 2020. Spectrum updating system and needed to pick up new box and self install by the 22nd. Went to the store only to find out boxes would not be in ghe store until the 22nd. Called customer service, no problem, we’ll send one out. Box arrived, no instructions nor remote. Hooked it up with assistance of customer service, had picture for 5 minutes then went black screen. She made a same day apt for me. Tech arrived, gave us a remote, worked awhile and got one channel working. Said it could take a day for everything to come up. Ten minutes after he left it went black screen. Several calls later got another apt. 8:30 at night I called because it was 2 hours passed the apt time. Told it was still opend. Told him to show in the morning. They called me at 9:23 pm when I was sleeping and since I didn’t answer the phone they cancelled work order. Made another apt and it was cancelled for some reason. Got connected with a supervisor in SC who got me a 5 pm apt. Tech showed up 10 to 5, said it probably needed rebooted, thst had been done numerous times. I told him he was supposed to bring a new box. Didn’t have any, off to the store 10 minutes away to get one. After an hour I called and cancelled my service. I’ve been thru way too much in my life to be treated like this. Bottom line- -Customer Service is there to make you feel good. They can’t do squat -Supervises are there to tell you stuff to appease you and get you off there back, basicly lie to you. -The techs that came in my home had no purpose being here. As for me and my family, we choose books.
Spectrum Service is awful. The outages are on a consistent basis which disrupts working from home and of course the company never offers an inconvenience discount.
Worst service I have ever had .
Do something for your customers. Implement something that will automatically credit a portion of the customer’s account for continuous outage. Lowering your cost would also help.
The worst customer service one could possibly get when you have a problem. The lady gives you a number and tells you to call technical support, you call, go back to office to get problem fixed, and lady tells you that technical support doesn’t know everything. WTH? Then she backtrack s on what she told me an hour earlier and then denied saying it at all. All I was trying to do was get a WiFi router that supposedly existed on the modem that I had but did not.
I asked you to change my date to received my payment on time so please just do it keep my service thank you very much I call they don't do anything about it hope this gets your attention so I can keep my service it's good change it to the 3rd or 5th of each month thank you I'd be happy
The service was great when we first switched over. Now, we have weekly outages that interrupt work and when it is working, it buffers a lot.
Company is not interested in giving the best service and is ok with charging customer for legacy outdated equipment. The people at the counter are always wrong about everything, and if you ask to speak to manager there isnt one most times.
They throttle internet speeds all the time and half time the channels I pay for I don't get they just come up with no screen. The ladies at the front desk are useless as well. It is a shame this is the only cable internet provider in the area.
Terrible cable and internet services. DVR is ALWAYS messed up and internet down alot. Very EXPENSIVE!!! If there was another cable company around, I would definitely go there. Satellites mess up alot but I'm thinking about getting one because my cable mess up just the same.
