Horrible, horrible, horrible, will be finding another doctor. The staff is rude and act like when you call the office for an appointment, questions, or nurse help, it is an inconvenience. Dr. Spencer is/was my doctor; however, I have not seen him in over a year, it has been the NP nurse practitioner, not that that is but still. Both are nice physicians, but it is not worth the hassle. It is like pulling teeth trying to get PA prior authorizations, they said they sent my PA over weeks ago, however, here we are weeks later, and it is still not completed. I have called the pharmacy and insurance company and they informed me that it is the doctor’s office that manages this. No one takes accountability here and that is a problem. This office is a mess, the staff is a mess, overbooked and severely understaffed. I really used to like this office but now I prefer to go to someone else. 100% do not recommend this office at all, Dr. Spencer yes, the NP yes everyone else it is a NO for me!
you have to call 4-5 times to get a refill and once it is finally called in it’s either at the wrong pharmacy or the wrong medication called in. when i call the operator today she said they are closed and her not having pain medication for her chronic pain is not an emergency but if i believe it is i should just take her to the emergency room. she likes the doctor and has been a patient for years but unfortunately the staff here is incompetent, rude, and bad at their jobs we will be finding her a different practice.
I do love Dr. Spencer. However I can not recommend him anymore due to his staff and their people skills. I will make sure everyone I know is told about the situation. Let you make an appointment then refuse to see you when you walk in. Yeap DONE. Anyone have any new doctor recommendations?
Exceptional service and care. I drive 45mins away from home to get the treatment and practices that I need and don't regret it. Dr.Spencer is a great person and provides all the attention and help you will need . Along with the amazing staff . Great environment and they treat you with care. Would highly recommend to anyone.
We have called several times and the message says their messages box is full and cannot accept any more messages and if you hang up, call again, you will get something different and it says to press certain numbers well they go to a bit bucket of no return and it appears the only one you MIGHT be able to get anywhere with is the aesthetician. Well that is not what we are needing. What is the point of having a physician's office if there is no one minding the business? Is this a joke?
Went there today, long time patient, started to read these reviews and I realized that in 18 years, never had a problem. You may have to wait a little longer than you like but that is because he and dr. Stern are probably the best doctors in NW GA. And the staff always says hi and bye to me, accommodates my crazy appointment requests. There is always going to be a mistake made everywhere, I got onions on my burger last night when I ordered without onions, but we are all human and any mistake that are made are rectified immediately. I know. This office for 18 years and a lot has changed, but not by staff or doctors but by the government affordable care act as example and his office has risen to the challenges of the changes better than my wife's doctor so if you want a doctor who walks in, knows your name without looking at a chart, and wants to heal you instead of maintain you, this is the place to go. If you want substandard care, Google doctors near me. I have never, and I mean never, in 18 years had an experience like these 1 stars say and I have to go every 3 months. Never changing my doctor, ever.
I've had a mixed experience here. Office hours begin at 830, but you'll get the answering service after that time most days. E.g. I just called at 835.. no answer No appointment I've ever had here has begun on time.. usually somewhere between 20 and 40 minutes late. I don't really get enough time with the provider in the appointment. Ive left maybe 5 messages for the nurse. Only once was my call returned.
Dr. Spencer is a good doctor with great bedside manner. However a good Dr. Needs to have responsible staff that will follow though with something as important as the patients prescriptions. I am a 76 year old woman who has had nothing but trouble with my prescription. Have gone days in more than one occasion without taking my prescription because the staff fails to send it to the pharmacy. Even when the staff assured me that the prescription has been sent I go to the pharmacy only to find out it’s not there. Called the office to informed them that it was never sent and was assured yet again that it was being sent right then and there to find out later in the day by the pharmacy again that it was never sent. Had to go the weekend without my medicine. It shouldn’t take several calls throughout the week for a Doctors office to do its job and send prescription to the pharmacy. Please be ware that this has happened in more than one occasion. Have talked to the Doctor about my concerns and nothing has changed. I will be finding a new doctor. Dr.Spencer You need to do better by your patients
The staff are very upbeat, professional, and nice. I've only seen the PA but she's great! I feel like the focus is more on the aesthetics side of the business, but still a great place to go.
I have seen Spencer for over 10 years and he genuinely cares. The other doctors on the office have been great as well. I have referred at least 7 people to this office and all were happy to have someone really listen. Yes, there were times the front office staff were rude but since then it seems the same women are no longer working there and everyone was friendly during my last visit.
