Do NOT go here! They try to talk you out of getting an abortion and push religion on you very hard. Was even given a Bible on my way out.. comical.. make sure you read the reviews before you come here! If you need help on getting information for an abortion GO TO PLANNED PARENTHOOD! What type of place asks what your religion is? Mind your own.
The staff were very nice and helpful. Although I felt religion being pushed onto me. They say they're okay with abortion but it seems they try to talk you out of it. If you're looking for "abortion resources" I don't think that this would be the best place to go. They made me feel very uncomfortable. When I got the ultrasound I felt very comfortable so if that's what you're looking for that's the only thing that I'd recommend.
Friendly staff and comfortable environment. I felt very safe sharing personal information with the staff. Would recommend to anyone struggling during pregnancy. The staff wasn’t pushy and very understanding. They have great programs for you to earn “baby bucks” to use in their gift shop. I got an awesome 4 Moms swing for my baby from doing their programs and earning money. I also was able to get diapers and other things for the baby.
Be very careful of this clinic's claims. I had a bad experience here. The vegus nerve treatment is not what they claim. The placebo effect is what we see in these videos. It never worked for me. I wish I had researched it more before spending an arm and a leg here. Staff were friendly and I was caught up in the hype but my crps is not cured or better. I thought it was helping and went through treatment believing it was. Very sad and in pain.
These volunteers have turned the scariest thing into the best experience for me. This is a faith based clinic but they turn no one away. Of course as any faith based organization would they show you the love of god but not in an overbearing way. The prenatal and parenting classes they offer are amazing and are taught by some wonderful women. With the attendance of their classes you can earn free diapers, clothes, cribs, stroller, car seats you name it! I don’t know how I would’ve gotten through my pregnancy without all of their resources and support.
I absolutely love the Spero center! My family has been beyond blessed to have their help, informational classes, their support and resources! We have two sons 22 months and 7 months- we got both their infant and transition car seats from attending classes at the Spero Center as well as our crib, bassinet and crib mattresses. All of their clothes, burp cloths, swaddles, blankets, toys, socks, shoes, binkis, utensils, breast pump, milk storage bags, a diaper bag- literally EVERYTHING you need for a baby! WE HAVE ONLY BOUGHT DIAPERS TWO TIMES!!!! ALL other diapers are from the Center for just attending class! This place is a HUGE service to the community and I just wish more families knew about it!!!! The material things aren’t even the best part- it’s the kind hearted loving supportive people that work there that make Spero Center all it is! Check them out!
I went to Blue Water Pregnancy Care Center for the prenatal classes that were available. The class was informative and very helpful for a first time mom. The facility was very clean and the staff was friendly and confidential. Free services are available such as pregnancy tests. This is faith based but they do not turn anyone away. Non profit organization and they are here to help!
Although the new facility is beautiful, I think the greatest asset is the caring and compassionate staff and volunteers. I know a young woman who is single, pregnant and scared, she was considering an abortion because she felt that was her only option, but they have been counseling her and bringing her hope. I understand that she is earning material resources, such as diapers and clothing, by attending parenting classes every week. I cannot say enough good about the BWPCC!
It’s a very professional family oriented place that me and my girlfriend attend regularly! The staff is like family and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for help or a safe place to connect with fellow parents! P.S I’ve only bought diapers once in the last 2 years thanks to these awesome giving people that volunteer so we can attend parenting and Bible study class!!!
I’ve been looking into volunteer opportunities in our area because I have some free time and it’s important to give back to the community you live in. I used a website called Volunteer Match that identified a few places looking for assistance. I went to the Blue Water Pregnancy Care Center and sat through an interview with Diana that would best be described as inappropriate I was then to presented with their Statement of Faith below. So be aware that if you don’t love God the way they love God you are not qualified to do their filing, scrub their toilets or provide assistance in any way. Their statement would exclude Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Jehovah Witness, Agnostics, Scientologists, and of course Atheists. This of course is well within their legal right as a non federally funded charity, but it doesn’t say much for basic core values. So please remember when donating your money that a charity that has enough financial support to say no to every volunteer that doesn’t love God their way, probably doesn’t need your hard earned dollars. Religious bigots are still bigots.
