I am currently a patient with this company and my nurse is Lita and she is AWESOME! She advocates for me with my doctors when the doctors aren’t doing their jobs. She treats me as if I’m a person, not just a patient. My entire family loves her. It’s going to be bittersweet when I heal up!
My mom entered hospice home care after being diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. She was in a lot of pain and the nurses worked diligently to get her pain under control. As a result, she was able to go to church again and interact with her friends and go out dinner with my dad. The hospice team gave my mom and family some amazing memories. She was with the Blue Water Hospice team for 6 months before she passed and we cannot thank them enough for the care, compassion and dignity they gave my mom in her last days. I would recommend this hospice to anyone that is dealing with a terminal diagnosis of their loved one. The whole team wraps you in kindness. It's been four months since her death and they are still connecting with us to offer support.
I want to Thank each and everyone from Visiting Nurse Association that has been so Kind and caring with my Aunt and helping me through this. They are kind and very caring people. I couldn’t have done it without them.
I recently had major surgery on my leg, and needed to start physical therapy within a few days out of the hospital. I am unable to bear weight for 6 weeks, and I was unable to get out of the house. Im so glad I called Visiting Nurses. My nurse Larry, Occupational Therapist Steve, and Physical Therapist Jim, are all amazing, professional, and personable. I would highly recommend using this organization. I am now ahead on my recovery, and in a few weeks I will be going to outpatient therapy. Being stuck at home, I have looked forward to the visits, and it will be missed. Thank you guys for everything, and Merry Christmas to you and your families.
My family could not have been happier with the end of life care my Grandfather received while in the care of the wonderful staff of Blue Water Hospice. His last days were spent at the Hospice home in Marysville and the care of the staff was comforting for him as well as all of us. Thank you for allowing our loved one to have a dignified exit from this life.
Had care coming in for my mother in law and had issues and questions for the company. Several calls into the main office and management has yet to return my phone calls. Have spoke to a lady by the name of Janet I believe in the past and she was just awful, snappy, and down right rude! Took my business else where! Don’t want my mother cared for by people whom don’t have her best interest at heart.
Know someone that used to employ this company to provide private care. Management was terrible, never returned phone calls, didn't know what was going on. They have this woman, Janet unsure of actual title is very unprofessional and rude to the consumers. Many of the aide's that were sent in were uncertified or lacking experience. No consistent workers.
The VNA has provided several services for my husband. Everyone has been polite, knowledgeable and patient with him. We would be lost right now without their excellent care.th
We went through blue water visiting nurses perivsouly to this my dad had a accident with the stairs resulting in a nasty infection and also a skin graph his hand was like a skeleton and also THREE open wounds on dad foot that's why we needed the nurse so at first the nurse was nice but then she would call and says oh I will be there around 2pm and did not show until like 4pm then the nurse told me that there goal is to teach a family member to do wound dressing so they don't have to well its only me and dad unfortunately but they did not care next the nurse tells me that there going to drop my dad to TWO days a week then ONE then discharge so I went to the doctor and received doctors order saying continue THREE times a week but they refused and on the 22nd my dad was discharge from there care and now currently my dad went to the doctor on October 2 and find out that my dad now has a BONE INFECTION because blue water visiting nurses wouldn't do there job I asked the doctor how long has infection been going on the DOCTOR says the INFECTION has been there couple weeks I'm so upset that the company cared more about dischargeing my dad then they actually took care of him whatever happens to my dad I will hold blue water accountable
I recommend going to another hospice...hospice is supposed to provide end-of-life care and support for the dying and their families, well my father did not get this....he suffered for over 8 hrs waiting for someone to finally show up to give him medications to help him with pain and suffering morphine & ativan....we started calling blue water hospice at 6:30 am until late afternoon and they kept telling us that a nurse is on the way...after numerous calls asking for help for my father they finally turned up but by then it was too late, he had already fallen into a coma ....our father did not deserve passing from this life they way that he did gasping for breath & crying in pain and begging us to help him... We are not against hospice care in fact while our father was under the care of blue water hospice our mother had been under the care of another hospice Together Hospice Care for a little over year until her passing last week and she received the wonderful care that hospice usually provides, our mother passed away peacefully and pain free...our family will never get over the horror of watching the way our father died due to Blue Water Hospices neglect and so I would really think before using Blue Water for your loved family member..
