The food is delicious. Perhaps too spicy, so make sure to request mild if you don't like food super spicy. The Paneer Tikka is delish and a must try. We also ordered the Eggplant Masala. Also super yummy. Restaurant is clean and authentic. Food took quite some time to prepare. Definitely worth the wait, but if you're starving, be prepared to wait. Highly recommended.

Spice vault is an Indian restaurant located in Newmarket on Main Street near Davis drive... The menu is quite comprehensive and al a cart... Nice atmosphere with several tables. Staff seems friendly, I ordered the lamb roganjosh with a side of basmati rice and a naan, It came to just under $30 cdn. The lamb was very tender and cooked well, the Sauce was very tasty but a tad soupy, But, with the steamed basmati rice and naan, the sauce incorporated perfectly. Very delicious choice, the spices where just right very aromatic and flavourful... I will definitely recommend the Spice vault... Good for fine Indian cuisine. Good for cosy date night. Best Indian fine food restaurant situated in picturesque downtown historical Newmarket, Ontario... Overall two thumbs up.

It was our first time there. The food is delicious! The spices and flavours are combined just perfect! They have many vegan/vegetarian dishes for those who desire that. The environment is clean, warm and inviting. The server was friendly and very respectful. The food was prepared very quickly. I’ve been to many Indian restaurants and this one is right up there. We will definitely be returning.

my first time at an Indian restaurant; great experience. husband had butter chicken and I tried the 25 spiced chicken entree, Samosas to share and we both had naan bread which was especially good. Everything was delicious and we hope this little restaurant does well. I don’t review places often but it is important to support smaller businesses that deserve it in our neighborhood. Definitely recommend giving this place a try.

We had dinner there for the first time and loved it. Everything is flavourful and well presented. The portions are generous. The staff was friendly and attentive. There was a bit of a delay but it looked like they were busy with take-out. Please visit them in the hope that they stick around for a while as we were in need of an authentic and friendly Indian restaurant in Newmarket. This is it. Also, they had many vegetarian options which is why we went to start with. We had the samosas which were perfect, the mulligatawny soup was divine, a large portion of Naan and 3 other items which were fantastic.

Food was wonderful. Very pricey for lunch. Maybe should do some combo plates. Rice should be standard with entree not extra. Garlic Nan really good. Missed the Mango Lassie. Needs to have a paint job. Staff outstanding. Bad location for parking. It's worth the effort for the food.

Our takeout meal was extremely disappointing. The butter chicken was tasteless, runny and had very few, 'dry' pieces of chicken in it. The naan bread tasted dry and stale, and our order of only 5 items was very expensive. We were so hopeful that Newmarket finally had a decent Indian food restaurant. The current good rating for this establishment does not at all reflect our experience.

I've eaten in and also taken out. The food is absolutely excellent and deserves 5 stars. The waitress is very helpful, courteous & efficient. Her choice of restaurant music is tops. The building is pretty run down. They've made a decent effort to spruce it up on the inside, but there's still lotsa room for improvement. The prices are pricey. But then top food is worth top price!

Great service and awesome food. So glad to have found delicious, authentic Indian food in Newmarket. I would highly recommend it for dining in- we have yet to order takeout but the phone was ringing off the hook, so I take that as a good sign for the quality of takeout as well!

Food was great all in all. The lamb gost was exceptional as was the lamb biryani. Also ordered shrimp curry which was bit on the bland side. They seemed to have run out of some starters, cause they had been very busy we were told. Hope this is a one off. Service was great. The place can do with some sprucing up which will do a lot to enhance the ambience. We will be back.
