This park is great for sledding,  snowshoeing, and playing in the snow making snowmen, snowballs, etc..  As for the grounds, there is one restroom , no playground, and no picnic area many people picnic out of their cars. Dogs are allowed and must be on leash. Permits are required to park in the small lot.

Our favorite snow park to visit! They weren't lying when they said be prepared to trek up the 10ft of snow from the parking lot. These photos of the bathroom and parking lot were taken today 3/25

We came here in summer. There is no snow left but the views are amazing.

Still lots of snow as of March 11, 2023.  Nice large parking area but smaller play area then Lake Alpine SNO-PARK.  Right now the snow pack is around 10 feet above parking level so you'll need to climb a bit.

Our go to place for the last 4 years! We avoid Lake Tahoe since we discovered this little spot. We stay in Angels Camp and d9 the drive for the day, about 50 min drive. Kids have a great time & plenty of snow. During the week getting there about 11 or 12 is good but on the weekend it's best getting there around 10am because it can get pretty packed and you might get turned away.

We went here on a particular warm day and even though the snow was melting off the trees, the place had plenty of snow for sledding and playing. Kids loved the spot. Quite a big lot and spaced out. Even though we went in a long holiday it wasn’t crowded to make you feel uncomfortable. Since the network is spotty, it will be helpful to get a pass beforehand.

Came up the mountain on June 15th and the Spicer Road was closed. Spent the night in the parking lot. Good times.  Restrooms: Very clean restrooms.

So many areas to explore! Small sledding area off of one side of the parking lot. Past the trees on the other side are hills & sledding open areas-plenty of spots for many groups. Perfect for sledding & snow play. Nice size parking lot with a single restroom. We will be back!

12.29.20. Decent amount of snow at Spicer Snow-Park. We bought the Snow-Pass at Ebbetts Pass Sporting Goods for only $5. Stop by there for the pass before heading up. Spicer is the first Snow-Park you will encounter as you drive up Arnold. Parking is very limited and gets packed fairly quickly. Once the parking lot is full, vehicles will start parking along the road that leads out to the main road. This then sometimes makes it difficult for cars leaving and entering. There were lots of people on the main side of Spicer[parking lot], so we stayed of the opposite side where there wasn't as many people.

Wonderful location. Friendly and helpful people in that area. On weekdays it's not crowded. The place is vast. So people are spread out. No worries about social distancing. You can rent snow tubes, skis, etc. They also provide you with wipes to clean the ski items. Parking was easy. But you need to get a pass before you go. Great place to visit on weekdays. I have no idea how it will look on weekends.
