I love this salon. I literally don't trust any other salon with my hair. I have had my hair dyed, highlighted, cut, shaped, etc and I've lived every result. Not only is the quality of the work great, but each person there is really wonderful! They are all super personable and great to talk with. They also offer a little of complimentary stuff while you are getting your hair done - like coffee, tea, water, and wine.
Visiting from out of town, came for a wedding and found this salon for a blow dry/styling. They were super accommodating, and got me in last minute. All the staff I encountered were very friendly. Devon worked on my hair and she was awesome. She listened to what I wanted and got me out quickly which was great! Would go again next time I’m in town!
Had a wonderful experience @ Split Endz yesterday! I got a great haircut from Darren while surrounded by a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. He really took his time & made sure that I knew exactly what he planned to do with my hair. The prices are reasonable too. I will definitely be going back & recommending this place to others!
Nice atmosphere. I was not treated professionally. This was a gift that was given to me, and it was disappointing. In fact, I should have known to leave after the consult when I wanted to cry. Besides $200 for a root touch up with highlights and a haircut is insane. And the color was really messed up. The gentleman I was passed off to was fantastic, and really listened, and gave me a great cut. He was nice and professional. And was kind enough to for me into his schedule when the girl who my appointment was with didn't have time for me. I won't be going back. I won't ever recommend them. I hope that nice guy goes somewhere else. He's the reason there's 2 stars up there instead of one. My family felt terrible that they recommended my husband get my gift certificate there.
Judy at Split Endz is an absolute gem. I moved from Broomall to Philadelphia and continue to make the drive because she is first a fantastic person and second does an excellent job with my hair! She's great at making recommendations for cut and color that I love. I find the prices are extremely reasonable too... this is an all around great place with lovely staff. I'm coming up on almost 5 years as a customer!
I have only gotten my hair dyed twice in my 27 year old life and it's been here by Darren. He's wonderful. My color stayed for a long time both times and I absolutely loved it. He gave me alot of really good advice on how to take care of my hair and even talked to me about his life which I enjoyed! I do think it's a little more pricey but honestly the environment is wonderful, the salon is so clean and they decorate for the holidays so beautifully. They offer u wine , tea, water ect while u wait for ur color to be mixed up. It's elegant and I won't go anywhere else. It's totally worth the drive and the money. Thanks Darren u rock!!
I have been going to Split Endz for 8 yrs now. The price is worth the quality. The salon is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and professional. My stylus is Darren. He has always done a wonderful job cutting and coloring my hair. Being prepared by doing research and communicating with examples helped me and my stylist achieve the right look every time. BTW, I changed my hair color numerous times Blonde highlights and lowlights, light red, and dark red. I also had various types of Bob haircuts. Darren is a well-versed stylist who does a great job communicating what works and doesn't work as well as explain techniques. I was quite surprised to see a few negative reviews. What I can say about that is: if you are concerned about price, go to Hair Cuttery where price may be great but talent is horrible. I have been there before and Hair Cuttery talent is why I decided to spend quality money for quality talent at Split Endz. Thanks Hair Cuttery for helping me discover Split Endz. I will only go to Split Endz now....8yrs and counting!
Darren has been cutting and highlighting my hair for a few years now. I've never left disappointed and have received many compliments! It is well worth my hour drive!
