Rude employees. We entered store at night about 30 min before closing and they were all gathered at the front chatting. Since we interrupted them with our question they got upset. I was looking for a sweater for my son and I was not sure of the name only that it was shore or north something. The young employees made a joke about it that I did not know the right name. They all started joking around that i did not know thr name of this popular brand. Then one female employee just laughed and said are you serious. Finally one boy told us they were located upstairs. We headed upstairs to try and look around but the same male employee followed us up and kept circling around pacing back and forth in front of us and would not let us shop in peace. I even triied looking at a different sweater that was next to the brand i had originally asked about anf he rushed over and said thats not it. We decided to leave since it was obvious this guy was spying on us. We wenter back down stairs and tried to look at the sale items by the escalator but a black girl was leaning on a clothes rack in that area staring at us. When I turned and noticed her she looked me up and down like we were on the streets in her neighborhood. That was enough for us .. we started towards the front door to exit the store. there was two white guys standing there talking about movies very loudly like they were just hanging out. When all of a sudden one of them burped super loud , then the other one said good one and they both laughed. They looked straight at us and just kept laughing. Unprofessional and rude employees. We went to Ross and found the sweater we wanted for $120 which was 50 less than there anyways. So it worked out for us but we will never set foot in that ghetto dirty store again.
I come here to buy clearance shoes because they have a large selection of them which are usually very well organized so i don't have to waste time hunting.
CLOSED. Sports Authority is going out of business due to bankruptcy. A few locations may remain open but the Grossmont store is not one of them.
Customer service was lacking. Employees did not know the products they are selling. I was looking for a power tower three employees did not know what it was. There is a reason we should not raise the minimum wage.
They almost close for good, so hurry to get their items. They also sell all non sport furnitures such as register table, lockers, etc.
This store closing down really sucks. I often felt this was the better of the Sports Authority stores in San Diego, and was surprised that the store closed down or is closing down.
Got some pretty good deals hers but it looked like they were closing down.
I like the location its close to where I live and they have a ton of stuff... It is also cheaper than some of the competitors in the area.
There was one employee at the register at the entrance to the parking lot who was very nice and greeted everyone, but the other employees were useless.
They might have what you need but don't waste the trip over, other places have the same with military discount.
