4/21/2023: Best darn BLT and terrific service! The only unfortunate is they are located inside the Bally’s Casino Hotel, which I gave 1 star. I don’t want discredit this nugget though. We ate dinner and breakfast the next morning here. They have a little TV set to a nature channel show at each table. I thought that was cute. Everything was so good! I’m impressed and thankful one good thing to come out of our stay. Well done, guys!
We came here to eat due to everything being closed at 10. Food was aight but what was the worst thing in my opinion is first seeing one of the servers demean another server; whilst he was serving most of the tables. Complaining of dirty tables, having him clean while she sat back talking about him in front of others. To make matters worst there is no front of the house manager helping him, or telling her to be professional in the front. I understand it's late, yet coworkers need to be respectful of one another; in addition to managers resolving problems in the restaurant and helping the staff as much as possible.
I’ve read a ton of reviews about this restaurant on the waiting time, however we were seated immediately- and the wait begun!!! Our waitress was “in the bathroom”. We flagged down the manager to order some drinks. Got them eventually. TONS of complimentary condiments on the table!!!There were no critters on the floor. Boudin balls were great!
This place use to be soooo good! I'm not sure what happened but it is definitely not the same. Our waitress was nice but the food was horrible. The gumbo is watered down and the meat on our philly cheesesteaks was freezer burnt. The meat on the cheeseburgers for my dad and son were burnt was well. It also took a very long time to get our food and it was not peak hours. We were extremely disappointed.
Attractive bakery window display. Kashyma worked in the bakery has a positive attitude and very professional. Good food. Low points because Ketchup bottle is not cleaned and server wasn't around often.
What happened to this place??? It USED to be wonderful food and service. The food was TERRIBLE...dry chicken off the Swanns truck. Soggy fries and large prices. Waitress was not personable or attentive and was "in the bathroom." Additional staff was very dry and did not seemed concerned when we told her the food was not good at all. We ate it however because it was the only thing available. The drinks tasted like someone dunked a mudbug in them. The cakes and pies weren't even out. We were given a limited menu...however on the website it had full on platters. Please improve as this place was one of my favorites.
Oh wow the food was terrible Had the Cajun pasta and it was something from the grocery frozen section - it was sooo yuck. Greasy and chicken tasted like it was canned chicken and sausage looked so gross I couldn’t even bring my self to taste jt Can’t believe they serve this to customer Also ordered a hot dog so can’t mess it up too much But wow that Cajun pasta was unbelievably unacceptable
This place is trash. Servers just hanging out in the back not checking on anyone. Food is trash like frozen from Walmart. Service is super slow even though there is no one in the restaurantFood: 1/5
The worst place I have ever been to! We are visiting from Montana. The service was horrible!!!! We had four people in our party. We ordered our food and only three of the four orders came out. Two out of the three orders we got were wrong. The menu said two sides came with those orders. When they came back out, they told us only fries were available. My Husband ordered food with no tomatoes, his order came out with tomatoes. He also asked for hot chocolate and they did not have any. We tried to talk to the manager but he was very hot headed and immediately walked away from us. He would not even talk to us. He went and got security which in turn had 4 cops show up. Mind you we were not out of line in anyway. I have never been treated this way in my life. Needless to say we will not be coming back to this restaurant and I would absolutely never recommend this place to anyone!
We made a special trip here to eat because we loved the Sportsman Cafe when this was the El Dorado. We were sat immediately by our waitress but then had to wait 10-12 minutes to get our drinks. We ordered wings for an appetizer but it came out with our meal. 2 of the 3 orders were wrong. Not too big of a deal. The food was good. Waitress was too worried about fixing all the problems with the table behind us to check on us or to refill our drinks. A manager walked by our table 2 times with our empty drink glasses at the edge of the table and never offered refills. Asked for a refill at the end of our meal, after we finished eating and she acted put out that we needed something. We then went to pay and left less than a 10% tip due to poor service and then the manager and waitress stood there whispering about us instead of seeing what the problem was with our meal. We are restaurant owners. My husband is a chef and we have both been in the food service industry our whole lives. We never tip less than 10% and usually never less than 15% in this economy with limited workers. This was a horrible experience with no concern from staff about their patrons. I do not recommend this restaurant anymore.
