This Spring Creek BBQ place is actually pretty good! Workers were friendly and fast. I like the dude that brought all the premium sides and he was very calm. A/C works great and food tasted very delicious, although pulled pork is a little on the spicy side. Jello is unique to this location and it's great!!
I've dropped the rating 1 star for the decreased value. Costs are up everywhere and Spring Creek is among them. Where you used yo load your own vegetable side dishes onto your own plate, since the Covid began, they load the veg sides for you. It's OK that they do the serving for you. However the serving size is no where near what you could load on your plate before. Mind you, these are vegetables.. Not meats..and they raised prices to cover their increased cost. So, why have they limited the sides to such smail portions? Consumers are feeling the raised prices. You'd think that MAC-N-CHEESE or Green Beans would be a place to lure in loyal customers. Food was great as always! You still get all the fresh baked dinner rolls you want.
Yummy food. I love to eat here when visiting Texas. I was disappointed that they now limit sides. Years back. I could pick and choose from any of the offerings. They seem to have changed to a turkey roast instead of the roasted, carved turkey I seem to remember a few years back. Still tasty however.
This is the second time we have dined at Spring Creek in Mansfield, Tx., within two months time, and had issues with getting rolls. Both times, we had to go and ask the person at the roll station for rolls. Tonight, we had a rude response from the girl at the roll station. She told me she would bring them to us. After she brought us some, and no other table, she was laughing as she walked away. Later, she was walking to give other tables rolls, and she glanced over and sarcastically gave me a thumbs up. Really? VERY disrespectful! We also received a small portion of brisket, which we had to complain about, to get the right portion. The food was good, as usual, but we will be driving elsewhere, to another location, in the future, to avoid these problems we have experienced at the Mansfield, TX. location.
I have been going to this location for the better part of 15 years or so and its quality has gone down hill. The meat now seems always over smoked and usually dry. You dont get to load up on the sides like before even though they charge more than ever. And honestly I understand they commonly employ students, but man these kids now, their work ethic sucks. They are generally uncaring, slow and just seem to do the minimum which includes service. IDK, but I think we will likely kick this one out of our normal eating routine. Only going here if there is little other choice when really hungry.
Charged dang near $20 for a dinner plate 2 or 3 meats and 2 sides I got brisket and turkey. There was about 5 small slices of brisket and 4 small slices of turkey. The flavor is as good as its always been but the prices are higher and the portion sizes are smaller and the food is chain barbecue quality at a premium barbecue price.
Amazing food here!!! A bit pricey but well worth it. Service is hit and miss though with the young kid workers. Recommended nonetheless!Food: 5/5
Came here before visited from out of town. My first experience wasn't all that bad the ribs not all that great had better where I'm from. My second visit was just terrible the food the staff, not everyone was but my overall experience confirmed I wont coming back a third time
I was in a group in a private room and was disappointed by the taste of the food until I warmed it up two days later. The only wait staff that we saw was giving out rolls. When asked for to-go containers she disappeared...until she was saying goodbye to us at the door. SMH
Another DFW and Texas destination that you are required to patron before you call yourself a true Texan. Rib plate with sauce is the bestRecommended dishesRib Dinner
