We set out to find the nothing but the best for our daughter. I am pleased to say we have found it. We are very satisfied with Spring Hill Day School. Our daughter has improved in her independence. She was becoming a bit bored at home and now seems to be much more cheerful since starting this program and venturing new things. The staff has been kind and I am pleased with my daughters new teachers who are friendly and very patient with her as she learns and grows. Thank you Spring Hill Day School for helping our family.

Our son has blossomed here and we are so excited to see his speech and vocabulary expanding by leaps and bounds!  He loves going to school each day. The teachers are amazing and co-owners Andrea & Shari genuinely care for each of their students. A++!!

Clean classroom environments and nice size rooms. The staff is remarkable and very caring. I have had no issues whatsoever. They have a fun music program taught by a professional musician. The outdoor play area is shared by all of the classes at different times. They have special guests visit throughout the year petting zoo, firemen, etc..

I would have given it a 1 star but the two star is because the building is pretty and well looked after. Other than that,  my 4 year old had such a negative experience with them they treated her so badly as well. There was a lot of cold and harsh behavior from her teacher toward her and My 4 year old felt that her teacher didn’t like her. At the end of the school year, I joined the class party and brought my two other kids from Allendale. We were not greeted until I called out to her teacher with a hello, we were give a cold quick Hi back. My two other kids stood there like they were not welcome. A minute latter another Mom came in with a kid not from SHDS and the teacher walked up to her and said hello with a hug and warm welcome and asked the Mom and her other child whom she brought in if they would like any refreshments from the class party. Then when I asked my four year old to say goodbye as she won’t see her teacher again, she shook her head and said no she didn’t want to. I asked her to give her teacher a hug good buy again. When my four year old opened her arms to give the teacher a hug, the teacher took a step back and  held her hands together and refused to even shake my daughters hand. We of course had an insident where the teacher grabbed my daughter whom she claimed was running in the playground and my daughter pinched her. I was told that due to that insident, and the impression that my daughter was horrid Henry, the teacher told me she would not touch my daughter again. Now, I didn’t think she meant even for a hand shake or hug... . I was a day care director and I have worked with kids and I know kids act out for a reason. And I know that ages 2-3 are challenging.... mine had just turned 4they test their boundaries with you. And they will act out even more if they feel they are not treated fairly or if they are not liked.  We left that school and from July, we have been in Discovery Lane Day School. I have been silently observing. The environment is 180 degrees better! They are warm and welcoming to us the parents as well as our daughter. In SHDS, I had to be the one  to say hi to the staff when they get my kid and each time I would get a quick hi back very cold. At DLDS, The entire staff made an effort to know the kids of all classes by name! Then, Last  month I finally went to her teachers and asked about my daughters behavior. They laughed at me and said the only complaint they had is that she loves to chat and tell stories and that it was hard to get her quit during circle time, but that even that was not a concern. I was shocked! So she listens when you tell her to do something , they said yes, so does she hit? They said no, Does she give an attitude? They said no and laughed and asked why I was concerned . I said nothing but they knew I was shocked.  And today, she got in the car when I picked her up and said Mama, This is the best school in the entire world. This made me cry. I was happy for her, that she was loving her school and that they treated her well. I was also upset that she and we both, had a bad experience with SHDS...  I am not the kind of person to shun easily and I support Educators. But this was baaaad experience with SHDS

I can see a difference in my grand daughters vocabulary, patience and sharing since she has started at Spring Hill Day School. Her "Papa" and I are very pleased with her progress!
