Jackie is not only an amazing worker but also an amazing person and goes above and beyond to help you out!! She s the absolute best!! I appreciate her more then she’ll ever know! You should be very lucky to have her as an employee!!
This place is okay for the most part. Though there are a lot of things that could be fixed for sure. The number one thing is the fact that October through almost May the apartment temperature fluctuated between 75-85 for those months. 85 is way to hot. I understand that there are some older folks that live here but that doesn't mean that almost 350+ people should suffocate. Yes my heat was turned off but it was still way too hot. The apartment windows only open about 3-5' for safety reason. Which I get but it doesn't get barely any air in. It could be 85 for 3-5 days then it will change back down to 75. Which 75 is a normal temperature for most places. Upon asking they said that it was a law which I get they need to turn the heat on, but 85?! Seriously fix it. The website to which I found this place fibs with their parking. Yes there is a small parking lot that can hold up to about maybe 15-20 cars? I'm not sure I don't actually count. There is no garage, no assigned parking spot. It was on a third party website truily? Something like that. Do not advertise it as so. The elevators sometimes work for the most part. They turned off the power for 3 hours no warning. They were switching from breaker to fuse. They typically will put notices in elevators but there was nothing. Only a couple floors have laundry and they are smallest machines. However since moving in November 2 floors have yet to work. Once my lease is up I will be finding a new place. For my first place it was okay at best. However not worthy enough to sign on for another year. Only two small dumpsters for almost 350+ people. Gets full very fast and then trash is left all over. Please consider getting at least a 3rd one. Pro: Friendly staff packages are left with them and you have to sign them out. They will also call you most of the time mostly during the weekday They have carts if you need to haul something from your car to your room. Mini mart on the first floor. The friendly boardwalk cat that they haven't kicked out yet. Has a fairly modern look to it. Faces either the ocean or the city so that's nice. They once called me to move my car before it was going to get towed.
My dad is 62 years old and been living here for 2 years. The management is very disrespectful and don’t care for the older people living here. A lot of older adults have health issues that live here and it’s black mold growing thru the whole building. I attached some pictures of how the owners are just not taking care of the building at all.
I love my apartment, management is fair & care, if I have a problem I'm encourage to talk to them, and so far when I have, my issues have been addressed. Maintainance is Johnny on the spot. Yes parking is an issue, there is no fitness room, & as far as bugs, keep your apartments clean, take out your trash. exterminators are scheduled regularly.
Well, the garage isn’t finished yet, and I’ve been to,d it’s been three years. All the elevators work great, but they could use more washers and driers on the floors, that work. The exerciser room, we’ll, that’s worked on I suppose. However, let something need fixing, the mataince men are on it quick! I had a leak from the apartment over me, and it was fixed that day. The only thing I would gripe about, is the garage. Being handicapped it would be a blessing not to have to park a mile away. I’ve seen nor heard any small visitors nor prof of them. Being an independent living, the nurses are great!! They bend over backward to help you! The help I got when I moved in is beyond words. My trash is collected, wash done, etc. As I can still do my own, i do it.However, let me need help, and they Are There!!! That’s what I have experienced. Oh forgot my view.
The ocean at 101 Boardwalk in a berry nice building. Quite and never any problems. It was built in 1954 and the walls are solid. A small store below in the lobby, something came close to a 7-11. Large doors there allow you to walk right out and hit the boardwalk. Very active even on cold days. When the weather warms up you can lay out on the sand, fish or both. Life ain't gonna get better then living here. Atlantic City has the longest boardwalk in the entire world so get a bike and enjoy
The Ocean at 101 Boardwalk is beautiful! This place offers the best views in Atlantic City. Everyone here has become family to us. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The pro's outweigh the cons for sure. The waterside market on the 1st floor is such a great place also. We love it here!
The building has a mice and roaches. The trash chute they took away which made things worse! Parking garage doesn't work. Many washing machines and dryers are out of order. Sometimes the fire alarm goes off for nothing. They have a security staff made up of a family: the mom is supervisor, the husband and the son. The husband has an attitude, he is rude, lazy, disrespectful and not professional. He almost got into fight with my boyfriend because we needed to pick up our package. So disgusted!!!
Like most places like this it probably depends on the unit you get .But I went to this thotty house in the building and it was nice. Clean and remodeled . The halls leave something to be desired . Also some residents and the area is kinda ratchet. However if you live here it has to be for the proximity to the boardwalk and the lovely ocean views. If you enjoy the ocean and that nice hotel suite feel then this place is for you .I mean those large windows and views again really make it worth it.i kept looking out her window I forget to get the dome. She ain't have no bugs. Still Rodents and roaches can be killed but did I mention the views . If they had washer dryer I'd give em a try but TF I look like using some laundry room lol .
Management is rude. Not friendly only on the day you fill out paperwork n give them money. Maintenance is also terrible they do sloppy work. Roaches n mice I seen in hallways also in my apt. They need to hire new security the ones they have are too nosey n don't do their job plus they have a slow kid working front desk. The power always goes out. You pay too much for nothing basically.
