Decent little park along the Philadelphia riverfront. Had higher expectations of this place when I searched it out online beforehand. I saw a bunch of pictures of colorful lights that made the park look kind of wild and fun. However, in person, I thought it felt a little grungy and underwhelming and it didn’t have the lights that I was expecting to see. That said, not a bad place to kill a little time if you’re looking to have a drink outside or a casual hang out with some friends; probably not a bad place to have a first date meet up. Has a few food vendors and the floating barge area has a few different places to sit and a bar. You have to stay within the park boundaries with your drinks. They do have security monitoring in the park, which is probably a good thing, but also made it feel a little bit odd. Mixed bag overall.
What a unique space. This was my first time ever in Philadelphia, and I did a lot of walking. This was a nice little park that I stumbled across while walking around, and it had cute little hammocks and food trucks and a lot of shaded areas. It's right by the water, so there's a nice cool breeze.
Very cool spot to hang out. From 5pm to 10 pm there's plenty of spots to relax. From the hammocks to the cataraman trapeze over the water it's very relaxing. Food and drink right there make it a perfect to spend the evening.
Pretty calm stroll as we came early and during the week. Nice views, interesting things to see, go take a pic on the big chair! Lol and bring a lock if you wanna lock them in if you know what I mean lol.have fun y’all
The food was delicious. They have different vendors to choose from. We ate from the Philly taco spot. I got the corn mushroom and i couldn’t stop eating it. The vibe is nice, family friendly and a great spot to just hang out. The are pretty strict about swinging on the hammocks so don’t swing. I’m a visitor from out of town and love coming here when I’m in Philly. Restrooms: Cleanish
Spruce st harbor for me is great they have hammocks to relax in a non smoking environment with security in that area. A place to get away from city clutter noise, very romantic setting but me being single I'll Romance Me myself and Eye. Lol Seriously this is a great place Come on down, relax n Enjoy Peace love happiness!
Best place to chill around in Philadelphia, there're ships, Cruise boats, historic warships, submarines with the option to ride some of them. Food's good, had some Philly tacos.
If you want a nice view of the Delaware River I would recommend Spruce St Harbor Park. They have hammocks but they are usually occupied. There is a small amusement park with rides and there is also an arcade. There are plenty of restaurants and access to Old City. You can also see Camden NJ and the Ben Franklin Bridge.
This was a fun little spot by the water. They had public hammocks, swingsets, big swan paddle boats. We were actually here for a Fever event on the Historic Gazela which was absolutely phenomenal. I wish I could provide a review for just the event because it was an amazing production. But this entire area was well kept and provided a very fun atmosphere. Playground: Not a lot of playground so to speak, but they had swings that kids could play on with sand covering the ground for safety. Looked like fun! Dog-friendliness: There were many dogs walking around down here. No one minded or bothered them.
Had a great time! Beautiful at night. Chill. Always something to do. I went here with my Sister and Boyfriend around 9 at night. The lights were beautiful and the hammocks were relaxing. Lots of photo opportunities!
