Friendly staff and PRIME location- close to the beach and 10 minutes from downtown! We come here all the time with our dogs to visit our favorite city : The upgrades to the cabins were nice and we always enjoy the pet walk and K9 park! The dogs are always taken care of here and get plenty of outside time instead of being cooped up in the cabin. Some minor fixes are needed in the restrooms with the locks. While the camp feels relatively safe, my only concern is having the bathrooms so far back. The entrance is out of sight and enclosed, unless you are sitting at certain table at the pool. I would recommend one of those safety buttons in the restrooms. It was nice seeing the restrooms cleaned so frequently, the staff smiling, and the premises being well-taken care of in general. It is a great day at the KOA in St. Augustine!
Nice, clean, good lot sizes, friendly staff and nice scenery. The dog park area is small and mostly dirt but kept clean. Daniella in the office is great! I really appreciate that she still wears a mask too! Thank you Daniella!
Really nice campground in a good location for local attractions. The only negative thing I have to say is it's a little loud due to the proximity to the road, but a little white noise blocks that out. The bath houses are nice, the camper sites provide a gas grill table and chairs, the campground is well maintained, and the pool is nice. The kids really enjoyed the paddle boats and the bikes! Playground: Small playground, but well maintained. Restrooms: Very well maintained and clean. Dog-friendliness: Nice dog area!
Great spot to stay in! It's a campground close to everything and not on a lot of land but it's quiet and clean. We stayed in a dig friendly cabin and had no issues. The bathrooms/showers were clean. The ladies st the desk were super nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.Rooms: 5/5
Excellent service, the office has great hours, beautiful pool and some of the nicest, most beautiful showers and restrooms we’ve ever experienced. Easy in and out, there is a nice lake with ducks, egrets and turtles. We definitely recommend this campground!!
Not to slight any other KOA I have stayed at, this location is the best. Private shower and and toilet. Clean as a whistle. Campsite has a propane grill, fire ring. Chimanea. Table, chairs and Swing seat. Staff as pleasant as could be. We are only staying one night on our way home to NJ. This place will be in our plans for next year for a longer stay. Very nice. Don’t change a thing. Thanks.
Ok KOA. Could use a little clean up. Lots of trash in our fire ring. Devil ant hills everywhere. Shower is nice with your own cubicle but floor is angled way too steep and, when wet, too slippery. I had sore calves trying to keep my balance. Front office guy very friendly. Lake and ducks really nice
This was my second visit to this KOA and certainly not my last. The park is well-kept and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating . Most of the lakefront sites have ample room so you don’t feel like you are on top of the adjacent RV’s. Not certain when the bathrooms were upgraded but they are very nice with tiled showers and plenty of room in a private room setting. When I arrived this time, my fifth wheel was covered with bugs. I asked the front desk if they had anyone that comes onsite and they referred me to Garrett. I called and he came first thing the following morning. He did a great job of removing the bugs and making the front of the camper look new. The park is conveniently located to most points of interest in the St. Augustine area. I can’t wait until I get another chance to come back!
The campground is lovely, well-maintained and in a great location. BUT it is adjacent to a biker bar and car wash. Sites # 20 on are fully exposed to the noise, bright lights, and roar of motorcycles. It made our stay most unpleasant.
Had a cabin on the pond. Tried the fishing but no nibbles. Staff was friendly. Good location. Extra thanks to the staff that rounded up a couple bandaids for us. Restrooms were clean & shower was nice & hot.Rooms: 5/5
