The modern medical center that is St. Helena Hospital began as a simple two-story, wood frame structure and a collection of tents pitched near a fresh-water spring. In the more than 130 years since, St. Helena Hospital has grown to be recognized as one of the top cardiovascular hospitals north of San Francisco, and home to top-quality specialty services such as the Coon Joint Replacement Center and the Martin O’Neil Cancer Center.
