If I could give a negative star rating, I would! The staff is AWFUL! My 4 year old hasn’t eaten in 4 days and has had a fever and migraines. We waited in the waiting room for 4 hours and they treated us like we were garbage. Disgusted with the “care” we received.
First time using this hospital and it was actually the best experience I’ve had in an ER. The staff were so kind to me. They made sure I was as comfortable as possible- dimming the lights, providing a warm blanket, staying on top of pain management. I was miserable when I walked in and felt much better when I left. They checked in on me often, communicated with me, discussed pain management, after care. It felt like they genuinely cared for my well being and comfort. Only complaint is radiology was taking a while to get back to me. Aside from that, all staff encounters were great and exceeded my expectations.
Every staff member encountered was friendly and professional. The calls before the appointment to Schedule, get my information and later to let me know what to expect and where to go upon arrival was great. The facility was welcoming and appointment was right on time.
Had to take my 9 almost 10 year old son to the er for his foot being cut open. Was quite a long wait in the waiting room, but there were lots of people in there when we walked in, so kind of expected a wait. The nurses and doctors were absolutely amazing, the best! Each and every one of them that came in our room even the xray people just made my son very comfortable, had him smiling and everything. The xray guy even came up and wrapped a warm blanket around me without me even asking, noticed I was cold. The wait was very worth getting to have these nurses and doctors help us! Would highly recommend everyone to these nurses and doctors! There's just no words to even express my gratitude for each and every one of them that helped us last night and how awesome they were with my 9 year old son and making him feel as comfortable as possible! Thank yall so much for the amazing work yall do! Even my son left there saying he really likes the doctors and nurses alot and they were his favorites!
The check in process on the tablet was smooth. The admission check in part I would not highly rate. Patients who checked in after us got called back and checked in before us. I had to go to the admissions booth and ask if we were going to get checked in because we were there early and were now late to my daughters procedure. They then quickly gave us the paperwork and hastily told us where to go, which was confusing. Other than that, the ultrasonographer was very nice and thorough.
Took my 9 year old son in for planned surgery and all went well, staff was very friendly and helpful despite the early hour. I would never go here for an Emergency visit, but the regular appointments and surgeries always seem to go well.
Overall this was a good experience. The check in process was tedious, as I had gone online and completed registration prior to my appointment, photos of insurance cards included. When I arrived, I had to do it all over again. Nothing at all had been retained from my pre-registration. Kelley, the cardiac ultrasound technician who performed my procedure, was great. Generally pleasant and engaging throughout my procedure.
So far so good! Had my PAT appointment and everybody was awesome. The facility is clean and bright and open. Lots of close parking. Real nice bathrooms. It’s was actually a good day. At a hospital. I’m looking forward to a successful surgery.
Staff was kind and caring. Facility was clean. Two negatives, one not their fault. Drs office had me come hours earlier than needed. The charge nurse even came out to apologize. Second, I woke in recovery not able to open my left eye and in great pain from it. Still I was discharged and ended up going to an ER where I was diagnosed with a corneal abrasion. I was given antibiotic eye drops and told it was very important to use them to prevent infection. Clearly that abrasion happened sometime during or after surgery and should have been addressed during recovery. Sue Day
I was pleasantly surprised! I was advised to be there 30 minutes before my appointment to complete pre-registration and then my appointment would take about an hour for pre-op surgery testing. I hadn't been there 5 minutes when they took me back for registration. In less than 5 minutes after registration, I was taken back for testing. Everything went like clockwork, but I never felt rushed. Everyone was very kind and answered any questions I had. I was completely finished within 1 1/2 hours. I know, that sounds shocking right, but it's true. I was very impressed and would recommend Ascension to anyone. I hope my surgery goes this smoothly.
