St Joseph Cemetery

This 200 acre private, non-sectarian cemetery established over 150 years ago is well managed, maintained and graciously designed. Blessed with an abundance of mature plantings and trees, it is reminiscent of a beautiful arboretum. Judy Bourque of the Holyhood Cemetery Association especially deserves special commendation for her conscientious, considerate care when calling attention to gravesite issues.

I was just out to St Joseph Cemetery this morning. It is a disgrace. I was on ST Vincent Way. The section I was on was disgraceful. I spent 15 min.looking for. a grave that I knew where it was. The grave was covered with weeds and truck tracks. The whole section is in terrible condition. The graves are all collapsing. When you buy a plot you pay for perpetual care. I would say that there is no care being given to the older sections of the cemetery. The Catholic Religion tells us to bury the dead. I assume it means to respect the burial place. It certainly is not happening at St. Joseph. I think the Archdiocese should look at the older sections of the cemetery. It is a poor reflections of what the Church teaches.

I really like this cemetery it is a great place and it looks Really clean plus the people that work there are so nice to.

This place is horrible. The landscapers rip up flowers and flages. They have also tipped over headstones. Do NOT purchase a plot here.
