We are so happy the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church Greek Fest is back at long last. We have been going for over 20 years and it's absence was felt greatly during the pandemic. It's a great food festival, one of the best in St. Louis. We usually waIt til Labor Day and get there before they open, be among the first in line for food, buy more than we can eat and some to take home for dinner. Then we spend the next couple three hours eating, listening to the Greek bands and watching the kids doing traditional dances, as we run into friends and neighbors doing the same thing. I'm already dreaming about the gyro waiting for me in the fridge. We'll be back next year, beloved Greek Fest.
Beautiful church, but the lack of AC was bad for a full wedding ceremony with the groomsmen all wearing black tuxes.
This Greek church hosts an annual Greek festival with authentic food, dance, music and costumes. Parking is a real bear, and crowds can be shoulder to shoulder -- a little intense even. So if you're planning to go, allow plenty of time to park and to stand in line for food. I'm knocking it down a notch for the crowds. Nonetheless, food is great and the dances are marvelous and worth it.
Visited again for the Greek Festival. Great great place. Very welcoming. Stunned at the work ethic of the young kids. The tour of the facility was informative and interesting.
I was so glad the Greek fest was back I truly enjoyed my self meet new people and the food was Great as always
Great music, great food, and most beautiful church!
We visit St Louis every year just to meet up with friends and eat good food at the Greek festival. They do a great job. Worth the crowds for yummy food and an opportunity to support a community institution. Go!
Great festival with fun had by all!! Took the tour of the church. All I can say is "Awesome"
The best outside Greek festival I ever been in a long time ‼
