Small in size, but, the friendliest and helpful assistances. Great buys!
Large space thrift store with lots of clothing. They have very limited children's clothing. All the staff I've encountered have been kind and friendly except one. The guy at the donation intake seems like he hates his job and is never thrilled or thankful to be receiving donations. A smile and a thank you go a long way when you are recieving FREE items to sell in your store. I wish the store was kept up better. It's usually just piles of stuff on shelves and disorganized. They have lots of adult clothing but very limited children's. The children's clothing is sorted by color and not size which is extremely frustrating and annoying. I enjoy supporting their work so I will keep returning.
I don't have a problem with it being such a small location, but some of their prices are pretty outrageous for used stuff. And on top of that, the staff was incredibly rude to my mother and I when we were in there last. It was their 99 cent sale on whatever color tag. The cashier was rude and had an attitude about everything she was doing. Rolling her eyes, generally being snarky and condescending towards my mother and I. Then she practically accused us of switching tags on the things we grabbed and made us pay the full price on the tag for everything that was on sale. Needless to say, we will not being going back and will be advising our friends and family to stay away.
The book section of this store was great but I didn't find much else of interest. Much of it seemed over priced - I saw a dollar store storage bin priced at $2. Might be worth checking out when they have a sale on but otherwise, I'd try somewhere else.
The clothes here are pricey & not a ton of selection but it goes to a good cause..The housewares section is much better & there r a bunch of great things there for decor. .The is awesome & super polite & friendly. .They're the reason I shop there. .
I felt like they have a higher ratio of junk to useful things here than most thrift stores. That said, I got the a/V cable I needed for cheaper than Amazon after going in on a lark. And I looked in the records tonight and although they have their share of herb alpert and Christmas albums I found a Vivaldi and another interesting album for. 99
The women here are for the most part, kind and willing to help.the younger colored girls, not so much.they acted like we were worthless and disgusted with us and topd us to hurry up.when we were done one of them told us that we couldnt come back cuz they dont like women like us. Call girls that was very rude and disrespectful they need a crash course in customer service.
Staff and store are great yet could not help missing the Lynnwood St. Vincent de Paul store and staff. Was the first store I shopped at when coming to Washington. One thing about the Seattle store is you can bring back and exchange for other items. Unlike Everett store who was annoyed and rude when stating, "this isn't even our reciept it's Seattle's" as she walked away.
I tried to give away bags of free clothes and a rude employee yelled at me saying that I was "illegally dumping" my goods at their store because "donations aren't accepted 30mins before the store closed". I'll never go back and I recommend giving your used goods to some place that doesn't yell at you for giving them free stuff.
Employees are very rude i asked the woman who pushed past me who didnt say excuse me to please not move my stuff and lose my place she snapped at me excuse me!? With additude i repeated to her and said its just i dont want to lose my place and before i could finish im looking for a dress for teo funerals she snapped she was doing something and getting empty hangers and they dont leave stuff out then she was glaring at me and went over to my cart and leaned in my cart checking everything and i asked her a question she looked at me then kept walking i repeated excuse me excuse me...mam? Excuse me..over Nd over she kept walking went to the other side of the aisle to another coworker whispered loudly is she talking to me? And scoffed i said yes i am i had a question she just raised an eyebrow at me and said oh well... Then i said ok nevermind another lady with her said do u want something so i said irritated at this point..you know what im good no thank u... Then they walked another aisle down talking about me.. I cant believe how rude that is the second time ive come to shop here where this woman is snappy and rude and talks dirty under her breathe regarding me... She is a big woman brown curly hair maybe relitively new...she should not work in customer service mean lady...smh first negative review ever but needed to be said. I might not come back here.
