We are work travelers and stayed here for 3 months. The price is fair. We loved it! The location feels very private, minutes from Benton and stores. 35 minutes from metropolis, IL if you like to go to a casino. And 25 minutes to Paducah. The campground itself has good sites, plenty of grassland to walk our dogs, the shower house is SO nice and the owners are extremely friendly. We saw plenty of bunnies and deer and even baby deer! We felt like we were home. If we’re ever passing through again this is absolutely where we’ll stop! Thanks for having us!
We stayed at the Stage Coach Station RV Park in Benton, KY. We had a drive thru lot with water and electric, and a dumping station on site. The staff and facilities met our needs. Thank you Ken, Howard and Kathy! Safety: This facility was just off highway 69 and located in a mature tree area for shade and the place was often traveled thru by staff. Walkability: The grounds were manicured nicely and the staff were attentive when we had any questions. Noteworthy details: The restrooms and shower facility was clean and air conditioned. We found this a nice feature during hot days.
Convenient and easy off-on, whether traveling on I-24 or 69. Owners are kind and a pleasure to chat with. Sites are well spaced, dump station easily accessible on the way out. Excellent restaurant nearby and other services.
Lovely little RV park. Nice, big, grassy, level spaces. Doesn't have sewer hook up, but has dump station and a honeymoon. Very reasonably priced and easy on/off the highway. Does have a lot of highway noise.
Great campground, very personable owners and great restroom/shower facilities. Would give five stars if it had sewer hookups.
At first everyone is nice , but when something that breaks like water or the electric poles don't power your camper they blame you and are very rude about it, not only do you deal with no sewer or him coming every 8 to 9 days to empty alot of us got sick from it , they do not fix anything that goes wrong, the women that comes around is very rude and she keeps doing it when it's there stuff that breaks, power has gone out no water because pipes aren't fixed no sewer. We are here doing storm clean up as we do this for a living the absolute worst place I've ever been
Rude owners when something goes wrong with THEIR camping spots you get blamed. The owner Ken is a drunk. They let thieves run around and steal stuff also let’s druggies stay there. Worst place I’ve ever stayed at. They don’t fix anything that needs to be fix. I’ve gone over a week without water now due to them not replacing the pipe. They don’t empty the sewer like they said they do. Been 3 weeks now wanting for mine to be drained. Overall a horrible place to stay. If I could give no stars I would
Stagecoach is a great little campground. They have really good rates and also offer free wifi. The wifi kept a strong signal the entire 3 months that we stayed. Howard, the campground host is so sweet and helpful. He loves to talk and interact with the guests staying there. He is the father of the owner. Owners Ken and Cathy are really nice. Ken offers a honey wagon that he brings around once a week to empty black and grey tanks. Usually he does this on Wednesday's if weather permits, if not then he normally does it the day before or day after. They have really nice and spacious bath/shower houses located in the same building behind office and gameroom. The gameroom is nice with a television, pool table, air hockey table, bumper pool table and also has a nice little sitting area. Campground is right off the parkway, which makes it extremely accessible to everything. We highly recommend this little campground and we plan on staying again.
Love this little campground. We stayed one night while passing through the area. Check in was easy and the owner Ken, who was really nice, showed us around the amenities, the rec room with pool table, tv tables and chairs, as well as the bath/shower room. The shower stalls are fantastic! Huge! Yes, you can move around in them, there's a place for you to set things. And hooks. I just can't say enough. If we have reason to be in this area again I would definitely stay right here. There is some noise from the highway, but it also has easy access, so pros vs cons, just like anywhere.
The sites are well kept and extra large. The owner was present many nights for any face to face interaction. The camp host was very energetic with providing assistance and maintaining all sites. We stayed for more then a month because of the great treatment and one of the nicest camps we have stayed this year. We are full timers with a 33’ fifth wheel. Wife wants to say that the bathrooms were outstanding. We will be returning next year.
