Founding attorney Brana Williams is one of the most authentic and charismatic persons you'll ever meet... on top of being incredibly intelligent, funny and beautiful. Office manager Johanna is just as talented, strong and beautiful... a person that will tell you like it is without sugarcoating, but you know it's always truth. I was going through with my birthday. And I reached out to my daughter in law and she reached out to Indigo Family Law and they was able to get my birthday fixed. I thank God for my daughter-in-law and for the Indigo Family Law, cause without them I wouldn't be celebrating my right birthday . I would recommend them to anyone who needs help. Had consultation today with attorney but instead met with a paralegal. Very disappointing. She didn't seem to understand nor care about my situation. Told me how much I needed to pay & that was about it. Waste of time. One star is generous.
While our contact with Indigo Family Law was somewhat routine, Will preparation, our experience with it was far from routine. From the moment we entered and were greeted by Chris, Southern Hospitality and Family-like Friendliness were everywhere and practiced by everyone including one of the attorney's dogs. Ms. Kaitlin Floyd, the attorney who handled our will, exuded both charm and professionalism; answering questions in both legalese and common-sense, which is often not the case when dealing with "lawyers." At all times we knew we were in special hands. We just read where Brana Williams, Indigo's co-founder, has been named Assistant City Judge for Myrtle Beach. Having lived in this area for over 20 years and known Brana for that long, her selection, though quite an honor, is not a surprise. I had to to redo my will after my wife passed. Katlin is a treasure! She explained the reasons for creating a will clearly, answered all our questions thoroughly, and then explained the process when it comes time to present it. She removed all our doubt and confusion that advertisements and friends gave us in regard to whether or not to create a will. In addition, she described for us the difference in some state laws regarding our wills and how important it is to review your will annually. One other subject Katlin explained to us was the need for a Trust. In our case we did not need to create a Family Trust. She explained why Trusts are good but in our case all our desires will be met in our Wills. Above and beyond, Katlin has a knack for answering questions using real life experiences. She knows these laws and rules when it comes to South Carolina because she lived it. And in sharing our life experiences she used the law to demonstrate the recommendations she was offering. This experience at Indigo Family Law took us through a full 360 degrees of our total requirements and how they, through their services, will fulfill them. Thank you, Katlin and Indigo Family Law!
