FAQ/Policies
When and how do I buy?
As of right now, new items will be launched every 2-3 weeks, on a Monday at 2pm PST. Exact date will be listed on the website and also posted on my Instagram @standardofgraceshop. Please check back often for the most up-to-date info! Only one of each item will be available, so if there's something you fancy, snag it quick!
When and how will my garment ship?
Items are ready-to-ship and will be mailed within 1-3 business days from the date of purchase. Items are shipped First Class via USPS and you will typically receive your item(s) within 2-5 days. If you would like expedited shipping to Priority (1-3 days) or Overnight, please contact me prior to ordering.
*Once items are in the hands of USPS, Standard of Grace is not responsible for lost or damaged packages. If you would like to purchase shipping insurance, please contact me prior to ordering!
Do you offer custom orders?
Sometimes! I tend to buy fabric in small quantities to keep items fresh and unique, but if you are interested in an item in another size and the materials are available, then we can certainly discuss! Items that are made with vintage materials (which will be stated in the listing description) are of course one-of-a-kind and cannot be duplicated. ;)
Do you offer returns/exchanges?
Because most items are one-of-a-kind, returns or exchanges are not typically offered. Please make sure you read product descriptions carefully before ordering. I take great pride in the garments I create and pay extra special attention to detail, but the nature of handmade items is that they may not be "perfect." However, that being said, if there is something wrong with the garment you receive, please contact me! I want you to love your purchase from Standard of Grace and will do everything I can to make sure you have a good experience.
How should I wash my Standard of Grace item?
All fabrics are pre-washed (in dye and perfume-free detergent) prior to garment construction, so minimal additional shrinkage should occur. However, I still recommend that all items be washed in cold water (preferably on gentle cycle) and either hung to dry or tumble-dried on low to make sure your item stays looking new.
If your items features vintage materials (will be stated in product description) and/or hand-sewn buttons, it is recommended that the item be washed by hand to maintain the integrity of the materials.
