We are so glad that we chose Stanford Enterprises to complete a major kitchen renovation that involved removing a wall, moving a beam into the ceiling, relocating plumbing, installing new hardwood to match existing hardwood, replacing small windows with a large picture window, building a custom pantry, and everything in between. Gyll and his crew did a fantastic job. It’s never easy choosing which contractor to invest in and trust to complete such a huge project, but Gyll was reliable and trustworthy. As a contractor he truly takes pride in his work, he is knowledgeable, professional, always on site to answer any questions, and was flexible when we changed our minds. Gyll always comes to work with a good attitude and a smile on his face. His crew is also professional and respectful of your home. I was 7 months pregnant when we started this project and he stuck to his timeline to finish most of it before the baby arrived! We are so happy with how everything turned out and we will definitely use him for future projects.
Stanford Enterprises was wonderful to work with. We had a crumbling brick planter extension off the corner of the house and an uneven concrete surface that Gyll made quick work of. The fixed brick corner looks like part of the original design with little to no evidence that a planter ever existed. We received time & cost proposals that worked out accurately, and Gyll took the time for us to put our daughter's footprints into the new concrete.
We reached out to Gyll to build a soffit in our kitchen to hide conduit after having our electric upgraded. He responded right away with a great quote and could start quickly. Gyll completed our project timely, and cleaned up after each workday so our kitchen was still usable during the work. Our house is mid-centry modern style with clean lines and no "flair" and while Gyll's specialty is woodworking and Victorian style, we really appreciated that he designed and built the soffit to be minimally invasive and it ended up unnoticeable after it was painted. His services are highly recommended, and we will definitely be reaching out to him again for future projects!
