This theater is fantastic. The reclining seats are huge and comfy, the theater is not too big, and the snacks selection is pretty good. But the absolute best part is the man who takes your tickets, Noah. He’s positive, encouraging, helpful, and informative. Noah is a delightful joy to talk to. He remembers what movie you saw and follows up after. He’s pure joy. Thank you for making our day, Noah!
Went 2/7/21 for moonfall and movie did not work. Screen went blank seat in theater for over 30min to no resolution. Was given a refund and movie voucher . Would not recommend coming here
Good theater, nice snacks. Generally clean, compared to other theaters. I used a walker here for a few years and they were accommodating, there were ramps for every theater. The seats sometimes are very tight, so beware of that, but overall a good experience.
Really good/clean place to go watch a movie…young folks are usually pretty low key so not a lot of talking and loud noises while trying to watch a show. The service is really fast and the servers are well-trained and act like they want to be at work…unlike some other places I won’t name! Of course, when you have good management, you have all these things to brag about! I do miss the best manager of them all…left a few months back…Raul Ramirez!
They will no longer accept cash payments! Card or nothing! We come here so often but it has gone down quite a bit. Concession got worse and more expensive, seats are sticky and toilets can be pretty yucky. Very unfortunate, we will just have to find a different theater
Absolutely Love This place.. Very kid friendly atmosphere. Awesome customer service... Staff is very friendly and courteous...
This location is clean & neat. Concession stand was organized. Once we went into the theater, I could tell that it had been cleaned up well. Tables at your seat had been wiped down. Really enjoy the reclining seats, which made watching the movie more comfortable. There is plenty of space between each row inside.
The seats lay back farther than any other theater lounge chairs I've ever experienced. An attached table top swings on a hinge to hold your food. The food selections however need increased and improved options.
I love coming to this theater, always clean and not super crowded. The recliner seats are nice. BUT they've decided to not accept cash anymore. Why?! It's not speeding anything up, now if you don't have a card then you have to go put your cash on a special card. Talk about wasting time. If you don't want my hard earned CASH then I'll just go somewhere else that does!
Was going to see Sound of Freedom today at 1:50, but I have decided to go to the AMC theater in Humble instead as Showbiz no longer accepts cash. I was told that I could put my cash in a machine, and it would dispense a debit card to be used in the theater. This sounds like a good sales point, but the truth is that you don't get change for what's left on your card when you leave. If every business started this practice, you would need a cart to carry around all of the different cards! Cash should be accepted everywhere. Not to mention that many young or poor people do not always have the luxury of a credit card. Get Real Showbiz, get American. P.S. The manager, Christina, did a great job and even offered me free tickets today to keep me at the theater. I thanked her for her professional approach to the problem, but I declined her offer. Taking a stand means not being bought out. I will pay for my seats at AMC and not return to Showbiz until they accept my hard earned cash.
