Wake Forest University's student art gallery
The START Gallery at Wake Forest University is dedicated to providing local college and university students with an opportunity to gain immersive experience and transferable skills in the visual arts market by developing a venue in which high quality student art is available at reasonable prices. The gallery strives to create a unique experiential learning laboratory in which engaged students have formative experiences while participating in the management and operation of the gallery as they prepare to become viable artists and/or professionals aspiring to leadership roles in art galleries. The gallery will be a place to enjoy, learn, and discover. It will also be a workplace of inclusion and respect, with a main focus on the development of creativity and ideas.
