Been coming here forever and have never had any issues with the food always great and service is good. Long wait times dining in and drive through, I always order a side of cheese for my fries and never receive it, froot loop milkshake is #1
Awesome food and service
I was in the drive-through line for 34 minutes to get to milk shakes and 2 cheese fries they charged me $3 for each of these little bitty cheese fries and as I said 34 minutes they had the person in front me sitting at the speaker Box for 9 minutes before they even took that person's order and then it took another 10 minutes of that person in front of me to even get their order it is the worst service I've ever seen in my life and the worst run steak and shake ever I tried to go to days ago at 6:00 a.m. and it says they were fully closed sorry for inconvenience bade open up at 7:00 a.m. I thought that's what 24 hours open means you don't close but every time I go to this one somethings closed as I said would not recommend this place to anybody ever
Worse place in the world. Had time to make two origami cranes and spell out "send food" in ripped up straw wrappers. And this was taken half an hour in when we finally got our drinks.
Love the burgers at this place, but they are always short staffed. There seems to be an extremely high staff turnover here. My husband and I where here last Saturday evening. There was only one waitress for the entire dining room. After waiting several minutes to be seated, we waited another 15 minutes and no wait person. Finally I got up and asked for a manager who was in the back somewhere. He said someone called off and he had someone else on the way. Again, the burgers are a good bargain, and taste good. Service can often be a problem.
After waiting almost 25 mins in the drive thru, they handed me a milk shake with a fly in it!! Needless to say, I received a refund and opted for Cookout instead.
Waited for nearly 10 minutes to be seated, then over 10 minutes before we left because no one took our order. We informed the manager before the 10 minutes had passed that we had not been helped and still no one took our order. My wife and I had gone there last Sunday and waited for nearly 5 minutes before leaving because none of the staff had even acknowledged we were standing by the "wait to be seated sign" Corporate needs to come in to this location and improve the customer service.
My fried chicken salad was so good! Thanks to the staff and our waitress!
We love Steak N Shake, however this place lacks good customer service and the table we sat at was dirty - the waitress apologized and wiped it down for us. I normally do not like to leave a bad review but i felt it needs to be pointed out in hopes they will do something to improve it. The waitresses were too busy chatting amongst themselves. I ordered two milkshakes, one for my 3 year old niece and myself when we finished dinner. I asked if I could please have a spoon for my niece since it was too thick for the straw and she told me I needed to go ask for one at the cash register myself near the front door. I find that ridiculous having to drag a toddler across the restaurant to go grab a spoon and come back to our table. What happened to great customer service? Then she tells me that I can leave her a tip with the cashier when I check out... seriously...
I've always enjoyed the occasional indulgence on some steak and shake but this location is a disappointment to say the least. The food is poorly assembled and often prepped incorrectly and might come out warmish if you're lucky. The milkshakes are typically delicious which is why they get two stars, since that is a big part of the deal there. However, the service is the absolutely worst part of this location. I always expect slightly below average service from places like Steak 'n Shake. Long hours, lots of bad tippers, rude customers, late night drunks... It can't be the best job some days. Tonight our server, Dayshia I, received one of the worst tips we've ever given. Because even for awful service, no one deserves to be totally stiffed! We sat for 10 minutes before we were greeted by Dayshia who walked up and never bothered with any pleasantries, already clear she is in a bad mood. We ordered our food and milkshakes. 15 minutes later our waters finally made it to the table. Lipstick on the rim of the cup. Another 10 minutes to get a new water after server is notified. My partner asked for more water much later in the meal and she literally walked away not a single word and went to another table. Didn't bring more water until she brought out THEIR drinks. She was not only slow but very rude and dismissive and frankly acted like she hated her job and her life. Slammed cups down on table and acted like our being there was just an inconvenience all around. If they had been busy perhaps some of the slowness would have be a little more understandable but the staff were standing around chatting with each other leaning on the wall and playing on cell phones. I worked in food service for 15 years and have been in service and management positions. This was a disgrace to the service industry and this food chain. Perhaps you can argue that you get what you pay for, but this was a joke. We will be driving to another location moving forward.
